"Gatto" is one of the scientists who works at Ulliel Laboratory. He worked alongside Paranormal Detective, but after discovering Ulliel's illicit activities, they went their separate ways. Currently, Gatto is a secret rebel who wishes to expose the Ulliel Family's secrets by asking for help from Lady Truth and Mr. Inference.

"Gatto" is a quiet and humble young man who dislikes social communication. Instead, he prefers doing research and playing with his cats. "Gatto" also has a strong addiction to coffee, and almost everything in his storage was bags of coffee.

There was not much known about "Gatto"'s childhood. According to the comic "The Silent Rebel", "Gatto" went to school but had a rough time being bullied. Due to this, he could only focus on studying. He was revealed to have a mother, but it is unknown about her current state (she's also most likely deceased).

After graduating from the best medical school in the town, "Gatto" went off-grid for a very long time. According to his previous mentor, he had joined a secret division of the army as a medic.

After finishing his time serving in the army, "Gatto" was invited to a ball between the Mélodis and Ulliel Family. Here, he was officially recruited as a scientist for the Ulliel family by Rosemary. His goal was to create a formula called "Eternal Beauty" to grant eternal youth, like how the Ulliels promised. "Gatto" spent days trying to create it, and when he finally found something odd in the chemical reaction, an explosion happened. Before losing consciousness, "Gatto" saw an image of his mother standing in front of him. After he had fainted, Siegfried Mélodis, alongside his two henchmen, arrived to steal the fruit of his research.

When "Gatto" woke up, the only person who greeted him was Paranormal Detective. It was then he found out his laboratory, along with his research, had been destroyed and vanished without a trace. Although being depressed and utterly broken, "Gatto" soon gained his strength back to redo his project from the beginning, and this time, Paranormal Detective is also alongside him.^[1]

However, as a young man who despised evil, when Paranormal Detective found out that the illegal actions of the Ulliel Family had a connection to the missing people on the news, he tried to stop "Gatto" and convince him to abandon the project. But "Gatto" insisted on continuing, knowing that he had stumbled on a dangerous secret from long ago and couldn't easily leave. This made Paranormal Detective feel rage as he fought "Gatto" in the lab. After this argument, Paranormal Detective ultimately left Ulliel Laboratory, not to get involved anymore, leaving "Gatto" alone.

As time goes by, "Gatto" still continued to contribute to the Ulliel Family as their employee, but in secret, he still wanted to expose their true nature to the world. When he saw Lady Truth and Mr. Inference in the newspaper as rising star detectives, he decided to seek their help.

From his file, "Gatto" was said to have joined the army as a medic. There is a possibility that he could be connected to Mr. Inference, Investigating Officer, Ronald of Nice , and "D.M.", as they had also served in the military in the past.^[3]
