"Little Girl" Identity Journalist Identity

This article is about the Survivor Character. For the starring character in the Identity V Story, see Reporter. For the Identity Switch counterpart, see Journalist.

Trapped in the nightmare of his memory, perhaps even "Orpheus" doesn't know her.

"Memory" or Alice DeRoss, also known as the "Little Girl", is an Assist-Type and Difficulty 1 Survivor available for purchase after completion of the prologue. She is the younger Survivor identity of the Journalist as well as the 1st Survivor Playable version of Reporter Alice Deross which depicts her younger appearance, and one of 50 playable Survivors added to Identity V.

I know this place well, at least I used to.

—"Memory" (Time of Reunion Act 2: About "Her" 2021)

Appearance

"Memory" is a small doll with pale skin, straight, waist-length blonde hair billowing around her, thin blonde eyebrows, hazel button eyes cross-stitched with white thread, light pink cheeks, and a faint splash of freckles across the bridge of her nose.

She wears a sleeveless, white vintage dress with a tear in the pleated skirt, as well as a long stitch on the right side with cotton stuffing coming out of it, and white stitching on the hem. She also wears long white stockings and red Mary Janes with silver buckles. A tear is visible in her right shoulder, showing cotton stuffing. She also holds an old and tattered doll that looks similar to a certain younger Detective in the crook of her left arm, which has black button eyes cross-stitched with white thread, a sewn, down-turned mouth, an olive green vest with a white shirt and red tie, blue slacks, a brown shoe, and a torn newscap with a torn hole showing cotton stuffing in the right side. Its right eye is hanging by a white thread, while its right foot is torn off, showing cotton stuffing. She also grasps a stack of yellowing, old, and smoldering paper pieces with incomprehensible scribbles on them in her right hand.

Gameplay

The "Little Girl" is an assist-type Survivor who can push back Hunters and Survivors with her Memory Fragments. She can also sync with other Survivors in order to buff their decoding, vaulting, pallet dropping, and rescuing speed. If she or the synced teammate is injured while syncing, she will be forced to desync. She will gain a speed boost for a short period of time after she desyncs on her own accord. She can also teleport to any free-moving Survivor in sight after a short delay, but will have her location prior to teleporting revealed to the Hunter while doing so.
