A Step Away, also known as Closeness, is an Reoccurring Time-Limited A-Tier Accessory for the Priestess, Fiona Gilman. It was introduced along with Morgan the Fairy in the Package - Morgan le Fay, between May 8th and May 28th, 2020.
It is connected to the Season 2 Essence 2 Lore.
Availability[]
As it is not a true Limited Accessory (which are denoted by the "limited" tag found in the top right of certain card icons), it can return to the Illusion Hall shop multiple times. It frequently returns with its specialty costume Morgan the Fairy.
- It was originally available for purchase from May 8th to May 28th, 2020.
- It was available for purchase again from January 28th to February 18th, 2021.
- It returned as the 5th place winner of the 2022 Costume Voting Contest for purchase from March 31st to April 28th.
- It returned as the 5th place winner of the 2023 Costume Voting Contest for purchase from March 23rd to April 19th, 2023.
- It returned for purchase as the 5th place winner of the 2025 Costume Voting Contest from March 27th to April 23rd, 2025.

Physical[]
A Step Away is a magical wooden staff wrapped in a black sinews around the handle. The staff is colored a semi-dark brown and has a hook-like shape towards the top of the staff.
There is a small purple orb in the middle of the hook-like part of the staff. There are two black feathers under the purple orb. There is a string attached to the staff with 3 sharp teeth on it.

Her portals are still grey with the muse mark on it, but now have thick deep purple mist swirling in front of them.
Vertical Portals[]
Vertical portals have bright purple streaks coming down from between portals.
Trivia[]
- Originally, the orb of the staff and special effects were colored a teal-blue instead of purple.
- Due to complaints from the players, the developers changed the color of the special effects to purple to better match the Morgan the Fairy costume.
- This accessory is called 'A Step Away' in the Illusion Hall, but is referred to as 'Closeness' in the Appearance Decoration menu.
