Andrea was a lover of the Violinist, Antonio. As of the August 8th, 2024 update, all references to Andrea were removed making her no longer canon within Identity V.
Compiled Overview[]
Andrea was a lover of Antonio. He felt as if she was one of the few people who truly understood his music. The two were in love for some time.
Andrea expressed interest in the 'single-stringed song' which caused Antonio's possession, pleading and threatening to break up with him if he did not play it for her, despite her knowledge of his fear of it.[1]
Eventually, Antonio gave in, and played the single-stringed song. Under possession, he indulged in his gambling addiction, and attacked Andrea, before becoming conscious again. Andrea cried and fled from him.
After the incident and deeply regretful, Antonio performed in several places looking for her but to no avail. Months go by with no sightings of her. One day, an owner of a theatre told him to go to Oletus Manor, claiming he would see her. Antonio believed this and headed off to the Manor. He wrote letter to her on the back of a music sheet with a song he titled "Andrea".[1]
Upon Antonio's arrival to the Manor it is stated that he was not eager to find the person mentioned in his invitation, which was Andrea, making his motive for coming to the Manor unclear.[2]
Alternate Theories and Conclusions[]
- Andrea might be a singer given the emphasis of her voice and the presence of song lyrics in Antonio's 2022 Letter.
- Andrea may be based on Antonia Bianchi, Niccolo Paganini's long term lover who he had a son with.
- Antonia was also a singer, which Andrea might be.
- Some speculate whether Antonio was actually under the Devil's control when he beat her.
- However, this is unlikely, as his lack of consciousness during the devil's song is stated in his 2021 letter, during which it is first established that the devil's song causes him to lose control of his body.
