Ape Curse is an External Trait that belongs to the Enchantress. As an external trait, it is a passive ability that the character starts the game with.

Description

Consumes 1 or 3 item stacks to cause paralysis for different durations.

The Enchantress carries the Cursed Emblem. She can consume 1 stack of Guard to paralyze the nearest Hunter within 5.1 meters for 1 second.
When the Guard reaches 3 stacks, it can be detonated by tapping on the special icon and using 3 stacks of Guard to paralyze the Hunter for 4 seconds.

Duo Hunters Mode
Enchantress can only paralyze Hunters that are nearby.

Gameplay

Patricia is able to use the Cursed Emblem to accumulate up to 5 "stacks" which can be used to stun a nearby hunter. She can accumulate stacks over time by being chased by the hunter, or by being hit by them. Using 1 stack will cause a brief stun, while using 3 stacks at once will do a longer stun. She can infinitely recharge her stacks, but can only hold 5 at one time.

• A Curse Guard can stop a hunter's attack animation if it is delayed
• Photographer's Damage Projection (when the Photo World ends) will not give Patricia any Cursed Guards even if she is injured in the process, as only physical attacks will count.
• The hunter can see how many stacks an Enchantress has accumulated (It will be a small purple number on top of their status icon).
• For Hunters, it is recommended to use the Persona Talent Desperate Fight to reduce the stun time when they are used in quick succession.

Duo Hunters Mode

Enchantress can only paralyze Hunters that are nearby.

Blackjack Mode

She can only accumulate 2 stacks total in this gamemode.
