Astrologer, also known as Auburn Duval and Enid Duval, is a Reoccurring Time-Limited S-Tier Costume for the Wax Artist, Philippe. It was introduced to the Illusion Hall as part of the Enclosed Dream Package along with Starglobe during the Chinese Seventh Anniversary event, Enlightenment Under the Stars.
It is connected to the Enlightenment Under the Stars (Season 36 Essence 3) lore.
Availability[]
As it is not a true Limited Costume (which are denoted by the "limited" tag found in the top right of certain card icons), it can return to the Illusion Hall multiple times. It frequently returns with its matching accessory Starglobe.
- It was originally available for purchase during the Chinese Seventh Anniversary event, Enlightenment Under the Stars, from April 3rd to April 30th, 2025.

The star map is bright, exploring endless secrets
In the 7th anniversary plot event, Mr. Inference will go to Wightlow to investigate the "Star Sacrificer" case. Follow the guidance of the star map and look for the truth and answers in the vast starry sky. Everyone has their own story and the star they want to follow. Everything will eventually return to peace. The old friends at the stargazing party came intentionally or unintentionally. Everyone has their own thoughts. What secrets are behind the case will also be revealed one by one as the investigation progresses.
In the anniversary essence trailer, the members of the stargazing club dressed up and waited for the moment to come. In the dark night, the sea of stars was shining brightly. The Wax Artist - Astrologer manipulated the star map, the "Psychologist" - Everlasting Dream and the Patient - Tracing Light stood side by side, the slightly anxious gaze of the Professor - Bard and the silent contemplation of the Opera Singer - Lady of Dawn formed a huge contrast, and the detective never missed a moment behind them...

Design Idea Plans
In the anniversary story, Wax Artist is a erudite and mysterious astrologist. Before that, he was also a genius scholar who was proficient in many sciences. He had a life trajectory changed by fate. He has characteristics beyond ordinary people—a little madness in rationality, and darkness hidden in elegance. This contradictory personality erupted a strong sense of dramatic conflict in the character. Therefore, in costume design, we also restored this contradictory beauty contained in the character itself.
The most prominent part is the sharp contrast between the materials on the left and right sides of the costume—The calm and steady scholar-style cloth robe and the mysterious and elegant astrological tulle. In terms of color matching, we use a strong contrasting red and black tones to visually express the contradictions and divisions hidden in the character's heart. At the same time, red also represents the character's birth date and birth star—the color of Mars, while black represents the dark and boundless starry sky, which also echoes his two completely different lives. The golden star chains and patterns on the costume echo the astrological elements of this event, and on the other hand, it also highlights the noble status of the Astrologer in the story.
In addition, we deliberately designed a small telescope at his waist, and a starry sky ball was embedded in the center of the spray gun to imply the character's eternal and passionate original intention and pursuit of astronomy. However, the scattered starlight flowing and dissipating at the hem of the skirt also foreshadows the character's fate of a tragic ending on the road of paranoid despair.
Design Idea Sketch
The theme of the story is astronomical astrology.
Wax Artist plays the role of Astrologer who is said to be able to draw on the power of the stars and enlighten people with wisdom.
The costume design is based on the scholar's attire, and astronomical elements and some fluorescent gems are added to the fabric pattern of the clothes as embellishments to highlight the visual sense of mysticism.
The elemental theme is the main composition of Mars (hematite + desert).
The first sketch is in line with the theme. On this basis, the brother's hairstyle and face were optimized, the astrology-related jewelry elements were strengthened, the material of the sister's wax part and the aurora effects were optimized, the sense of flowing starry sky was increased, and a star chain strap was added around the waist to enhance the feeling of the flowing starry sky.
The subsequent chest jewelry corresponding to the Eye of Mars was changed to a dark color, the shape of the accessories on the sister's head and the color texture of her hair were optimized, completed the design of the Wax Artist - Astrologer.

Showroom Interface Design
He stepped into the sea of stars, but the answer he was about to find suddenly disappeared. He had no choice but to return to his desk and try to explore the mysteries hidden by the stars again.
The hard journey of research is not all smooth. He is entangled by obsession and sometimes loses the patience of a scholar should have and sweeps the classics on the table to the ground angrily. Where is the answer he wants to pursue?
In-Game Display
The figure leaning on his shoulder was like the incarnation of the starry sky, and the starlight flowed behind her, the crimson robe and the dark blue skirt were intertwined, as far and inseparable as the two poles of the planet.

- Auburn Duval's birthday is April 16th, the same as Wax Artist's Character Day, according to the costume's design notes.
