Athena's Shield is an A-Tier Accessory for the Mad Eyes, Burke Lapadura. It was introduced in the middle of Season 3 Essence 2. It is currently purchasable in Illusion Hall.
It is connected to the Season 3 Essence 2 Lore.

The accessory is a silver shield with golden details on the front, as well as a creature embedded on the front.
Special Effects[]
The eyes of the engraved creature on the shield emit small orange flames. Bright spirals will rotate around Burke's console, disappearing after a short period, and small burning embers will be emitted from its panel periodically. The terrain around emerging fences will be changed to a dark, magma-like surface, and when fully emerged orange flames will appear at the bottom of the walls, releasing small burning particles that float in the air.
When dealing a standard attack, Burke's hammer will leave an orange trail behind its head. When dealing a charged attack, such effect is intensified and when the hammer head hits the ground, a small bright explosion is generated and flaming cracks are left at the site of impact for a short period.
