Design Idea Plans
The Avars are a nomadic people in Eurasia. The forward plays none other than an Avars driving a chariot. We designed a blue-green Paludamentum, with a blue ghost flame burning around its neck, symbolizing his rebirth from the ashes.
Design Idea Sketch
According to the background story, the forward is set as a racing driver driving a Roman chariot. While his clothing has a certain degree of luxury, he needs to take into account the tailoring and temperament of his image.
The cutting of the first version of the concept was a bit bloated and confusing, and the decorative details were too complicated and trivial. It was not in line with the temperament of a forward and the professional requirements of costume, so a new version of the concept was made.
The new concept uses a cleaner color scheme and tailoring. The high saturation and overall blue and gold make the sketch look more in line with Byzantine culture. At the same time, the warrior's sense of competence is clearer and clearer. In this version of the concept, the character's body shape has been further modified, and the specific shapes of patterns and accessories have been optimized.
During the refinement process, the blue tone was adjusted again, and the performance of the special effects was enhanced to make the identity of the ghost more obvious.
