Bloody Sword is an A-Tier costume for the Photographer, Joseph Desaulniers. It was introduced in Season 9 Essence 1.
It is connected to the lore of Castle Banquet Mystery (2019) and Twilight Banquet (2022).
Appearance[]
Physical[]
Joseph's skin tone is a pale white, while his eyes are a dull blue accentuated with black eye shadow. His hands fade from white at the wrists to black at the tips of fingers turning into black claws, while his right arm appears to burning the way to the elbow. His lips have darkened, with pair of fangs sticking out of them and a trail of blood flowing from the right corner of his mouth. Joseph's hair is white and loose, cascading down from his right shoulder.
Outfit[]
Joseph wears matching black embroidered waistcoat and trousers. Over this he puts on a crimson coat decorated with black embroidery and maroon ornaments alongside with black bat-wing cloak with a high collar and red lining. Around his neck he wears a black jabot that matches the frills of his sleeves. His shoes are black high boots with red laces. The outfit is crowned with jewelry: a silver tiara with bat wings and flaming orange crystal, bat brooch pinned to the jabot matching the sword gem and a black finger band with a silver ring decorated by a red crystal.

His saber has turned into a silver sword, encrusted with magenta gem (which match the one on his neck) with ornate crossguard.

The photograph is now a black card framed in silver, with small designs at each corner along with spiked decorations. On the card is a large silver ornament in the shape of an eye, with the iris being a bright orange gem. Red smoke and small sparks emanate from the eye's center.
Camera[]
Joseph's camera has turned into a dark tombstone with decorative grooves and sculpture of dracula's beast form which holds a red gem. There are two candles under the camera and the whole structure holds upon dead branches.

Red sparkles and dust fall from him as he moves around.
Concept / Design Notes[1][]
The story of the distant blood clan continues outside the castle. After the feast ends, what is about to begin is the dispute surrounding the holy relics! The battle drama is about to begin. Who can win the legendary magic book and control the qualifications to write destiny?
The destination is also the starting point, disappearing but reappearing
After a noisy and lively banquet, the Count's Banquet disappeared without a trace along with the legendary vampire treasure "Tome". For the dark and lonely vampire, this may be the destined destination and end. But the desire for holy objects aroused the forces of all parties, uncovering an even more treacherous dispute.
The elder Bloody Sword, who holds a high position in the Vampire Clan and is watching the power of the grimoire, was betrayed by the Vampire Clan and joined the church. The Misfit, who believes in destroying the alliance, continues the long-lasting battle. Due to the disappearance of the grimoire, it's getting worse.
The appearance of The Embrace instantly attracted the attention of all insiders - this grimoire writer who wrote the secrets and destiny in the secrets naturally mastered the little-known secrets of the grimoire. What's more, he hugged him tightly. What he held in his arms seemed to be the Tome that made everyone crazy!
The two major forces compete, unveiling chaos and disputes
The grimoire has surfaced, and the two major forces, the Vampire Tribe and the Church, are also ready to make a move. The photographer's A costume Bloody Sword and the cowboy's A costume Misfit will be on the same stage to perform the battle of the grimoire.
Bloody Sword is a powerful elder of the Vampire Clan. The gargoyle standing next to him is stepping on a tombstone, and two candles are burning under the tombstone. Who has this destiny been prepared for by Bloody Sword?
Trivia[]
- This skin makes Joseph resemble Castlevania's version of Dracula.
- This costume has been renamed from "Bloody Sword" to "Twilight Sword" on the China Server due to required censorship and also to promote variation in costume names. Its name remains unchanged on both Global Servers.
