Call of the Abyss I (shortly known as COAI) was the first tournament part of Call of the Abyss, and had a Deep Sea/Pirate theme. It was initially available exclusively in the Chinese Server between June 28th and August 2nd, 2018 on Season 2.

Although not initially available in other servers, it was re-released for Global between April 30, 2019 and May 23, 2019 during the Call of the Abyss II Finals, during Season 5, and was known as "Pirate Adventure".

Tournament Stages

Call of the Abyss I is divided into four Stages: Bottle Throwing Ceremony, New Route, Storm Circle, and R'lyeh.

  1. The first phase of the summer festival "Bottle Throwing Ceremony" will last from June 28th to July 5th. The official entrance to the "Call of the Abyss" festival will be opened. After the team captain signs up, all members can participate in the subsequent festival activities. The second stage of "New Route" will last from July 5th to 26th. The registered team members will participate in the battle, unlock the number of battles in the personal festival, and obtain the "Abyss Key" and "New Route Points".[1][2]
  2. Among them, the number of battles in the personal festival is unlocked, and you can get a lot of clues, fragment rewards, and festival-themed pursuit music. The "Abyss Key" is used to exchange for Abyss Treasures, and a large number of festival-limited personalized decorations can be obtained. Finally, the "New Route Points" is used to rank the team's performance in the second stage, and the top 100 teams receive [Call of the Abyss - Storm Circle] Themed avatar frame and corresponding ranking fragment rewards, and enter the third stage "Storm Circle" to continue sailing.
  3. In the third stage from July 26 to August 2, the top 100 teams participating in the Storm Circle battle will receive "Storm Circle points", which will be used to rank in the third stage, and the top 8 teams will receive [Call of the Abyss - R'lyeh] Themed avatar frame and corresponding ranking fragment rewards, you can also share the grand prize pool. At the same time, the official will set up a live broadcast room at this stage, and the audience can not only witness the moment when the strong is born, but also receive game rewards.
  4. In the final stage, "R'lyeh", the top 8 teams will compete in the offline carnival. All server players can log in every day to get the "Horn of the Abyss" to support their favorite team. The higher the ranking of the supported team, the more rewards you will eventually get.
    • In addition, the top 3 teams will also receive exclusive limited avatar frames "Head of the Devil", "Dominator of Time and Space" and "Lord of R'lyeh" as a symbol of their glorious honor and achievements.
