Call of the Abyss III

Overview and Rewards

Call of the Abyss III (shortly known as COA III) was the third tournament part of Call of the Abyss, and had a Lovecraftian theme. It was available in Global servers January 2, 2020 and February 27, 2020 in Season 9.

It was re-released during Season 10 from April 30, 2020 to May 7, 2020 for the COA III Global Tournament Finals, and during Season 14 from January 14, 2021 to February 10, 2021 for COA IV's initial release.

Tournament Stages

Call of the Abyss III is divided into four Stages: Invitation, Dome of Musee, Masterpiece, and Cross Dimensions.

Invitation - The beginning of the Global Festival, and it will be available after maintenance on December 12, 2019. The Club Captain can register for the Global Festival for free, and after registration, Club Members can participate in the Global Festival after the official launch (all members of the IVC Japanese Champion must be in the same Club)
Dome of Musee - The Global Festival will be officially launched after maintenance on December 19, 2019. Registered Club Members participating in battles will earn loads of exclusive rewards and will also be able to participate in Dome of Musee battles to earn "Global Festival Points". The Top 100 Clubs from Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Europe and the United States will advance to compete in the next stage.
Masterpiece - The midpoint of the Global Festival, and will be available after maintenance on January 9, 2020. The Top 100 Clubs from Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Europe and the United States will compete in Masterpiece battles to obtain "Masterpiece Points". The Top 8 Clubs from Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia will be awarded with more rewards and will be qualified for the Online Qualifiers, while the Club with the highest points from Europe, the United States, and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan will be directly invited to participate in COA3 Global Festival Offline Finals (if invited Club is unable to participate, the invitation will be extended according to the rankings).
Cross Dimension - Club face-offs are finalized. The Top 8 Clubs from Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia will be invited to participate in the Online Qualifiers, while the Club with the highest points from Europe, the United States, and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan will be directly invited to participate in COA3 Global Festival Offline Finals (if invited Club is unable to participate, the invitation will be extended according to the rankings).

Puppeteer	Mechanic	She never figured out why the investigation bureau sealed off the Secret of the Abyss, until the Netherwalker's existence made her realize the catastrophe if it is ever revealed. But the Abyss will no doubt find a way to show itself, and just when she is willing to step up...
Surveyor	Seer	The admirers call it the Nether, while the opponents call it the Abyss. To the Surveyor, this is how the indiscernible manipulate people's mind, so that the admirers become strong and the opponents shrink in fear. The erosion of the mind and engraving of the flesh through art is nothing but another one of their hobbies.
Trickster	Embalmer	The Trickster tried his best to protect the surveyors' mind from being eroded, just so they could continue with their journey on the road of darkness with the Abyss' creations in their hands. Yet his playful miscommunication finally took its toll on the Puppeteer.
Whiplash	Cowboy	At the exit on the other side, the veteran's last lesson for the newcomer is about choice: take on everything alone and stay behind, or accept the horrible price and leave. No matter which choice is made, it will only bring him closer to the Netherwalker.

B-Tier (Blue)

Auctioneer	Photographer	He never thought that Pickman, who was ridiculed as a copycat, could utilize his imitation skills so well on things from the Nether. As a manic admirer, the Auctioneer decided to spread the Netherwalker's work, so that the world would come to know of the Abyss' glamour and novelty.
Bodyguard	Wildling	He had never thought that there was anything wrong with the crudity of him and his companions, until he felt inferior in the face of the Vile Blossom. Yet the Netherwalker made it clear that all outdated rules and prejudice would be broken and remodeled. The sublimation into something more beautiful should never be kept as a monopolized secret.
Patchwork	Prospector	The disabled and the wounded will be eliminated by the investigation bureau. The cuts left by the Abyss won't be cured, and they will only be replaced by creatures of the Abyss which are even more inhumane and intolerable. No one wants to lose their mind due to the erosion, yet that's the fate of traitors.
Porcelain Doll	Geisha	The porcelain doll from the Far East emerged at the auction after it went missing for a long time. The ferocious soul attached to it seemed to have come from the Nether. The fools are therefore convinced that Pickman's art has surpassed the dimension of creation - that he has the ability to access the Nether.
Teleoperator	Priestess	Only the Abyss can confront the Abyss - when the dispute from the faraway snowland came over, she finally realized this is all but another pipedream. "The surveyor will be devoured by his own creation." She sent numerous messages to her companions, and yet she couldn't foresee this ending.

	Vile Blossom	Female Dancer	Pickman once believed that the human body was the most beautiful art, but she also believed that such beauty would eventually fade. It wasn't until the Nether's decay blossomed into petals on her body that she realized her favorite poetry had bloomed long ago, and she would become its everlasting champion.
