Compiled Overview[]
Charlie Sterling and his wife were aristocrats who ran a vast underground empire. After severing ties with a partner, Charlie's wife unexpectedly gave birth to twins, a boy named Richard and a girl. When the children were four, they suddenly vanished. Charlie and his wife were desperate to find them. They were able to quickly rescue their daughter from their former partner but the brother was yet to be found.
Three years later, "Richard" returned, singing a nursery rhyme that their daughter recognized. While the family was happy, things were still off. One day, documents were unearthed revealing that Charlie still had illicit dealings going on, leading to him and his wife fighting with her attempting suicide.
This all came to a head when their daughter became engaged. On a sunny afternoon, she was pushed down the stairs by none other than "Richard". Finally, Charlie and his wife began to realize the truth, that this was not their son but rather an imposter. They discovered that in every family photo before the twins had turned four, their sons face had been scratched out and replaced with the imposter's own.
As their daughter went to her wedding, the false Richard was kept in the dungeon so he did not interfere further. After the ceremony, the daughter vanished without a trace and Charlie and his wife passed from unknown causes, leaving the imposter as the sole heir.
Alternate Theories and Conclusions[]
- It's implied "Richard" was the one who killed Charlie and his wife.
- His casino might be a place visited by certain characters, such as Evelyn Mora or Antonio, as both were known as gamblers.
