- This accessory is not to be confused with Burning Cherry.
Cherry is a B-Tier Accessory for the Geisha, Michiko. It was introduced in Season 3 Essence 1 and was obtainable from the Season 3 Memory Spheres previously. It can currently be only obtained from Illusion Hall.
Appearance[]
Physical[]
Cherry seems to be a hairpin of some sort that is shaped like a fan. The fan itself consists of golden framework and a white spread, with golden flowers decorating the spread. A cyan-colored ribbon with cherries attached adorns the bottom of the fan. Two white strings with golden beads stick out from the bottom.
Trivia[]
- This accessory is worn on Michiko's head instead of her waist, like with Reluctant Hug and Falling Butterfly.
- The description of this accessory most likely refers to the historical tale of Feng Huo Xi Zhu Hou (烽火戏诸侯), the Chinese equivalent of the fable The Boy Who Cried Wolf; the story of King You of Zhou who repeatedly sounded false alarms using warning beacons and called all the lords of the land to his aid to tease them so his concubine would laugh at their foolishness. His actions eventually caused his downfall, as when a real attack on the capital happened, nobody came to his aid as they all believed it was once again a foolish joke to please his concubine.[1]
- The Chinese description of this accessory, a quotation from a famous poem, "齐讴秦吹卢女弦,千金雇笑买芳年。" seems to confirm this; the first half of the Chinese description being the English in-game description, the second half, "A million-gold smile[2], in exchange for precious years of reign."
- This accessory seems to subtly resemble the weapon design of Rashomon, another one of Michiko's costumes.
