Christmas Nocturne was the 2020 Christmas & 2021 New Year's event. It took place from December 17th, 2020 to January 6th, 2021.
Warm-up Event: "Christmas Carol"[]
Event Period: December 17th to December 23rd, 2020
"You stumble upon a violinist blocking your path on Christmas Eve. He asks to play you a song in exchange for some drinking money. Before the music reaches a crescendo, the performance attracted even more spectators who are going through a myriad of emotions as they're trying to seek comfort on Christmas Eve. Complete the Warm-Up Event event to obtain an event-themed portrait frame as a reward!"

Period 1: Christmas Carol[]
This event will be available from December 24th (after maintenance) to January 6th, 2020/2021.
"Completing designated tasks will reward players with Christmas Coins, which can be exchanged for various rewards such as Event Portraits, Event Portrait Frames, Costume Trial Cards, Emotes etc."
Patch Notes:[]
- Complete specific quests to obtain Christmas Coins, which can be used to make song requests with the Violinist
- Players can switch between "Play as you wish" or "Play a specific song" when requesting from a list of 4 songs.
- Play as you wish: Spend 1 Christmas Coin per song to attract different characters who are passing by.
- Play a specific song: Spend 1 Christmas Coin to play a song for a character you've already met to increase your friendship with them.
- Rewards: Obtain a Christmas Costume Trial Card, an event portrait, a portrait frame, and other amazing rewards for the first performance of each day. Players may choose to obtain special rewards for one of the characters with Max Friendship: Emote - Resonance (the emote will also be in the shop for a limited time).
Upon entering the event interface, the player will be brought to a dialogue interface to converse with Antonio each day. The player's character will be pre-determined by their set gender on their profile, and will pace around the streets - it can be changed via Interface Settings > Edit Image. The event interface can be explored by panning the screen.
Toss a Coin[]
Tossing a coin will allow the player to request the Violinist for a song to play. The player can choose either for the violinist to play as he wishes, or to play a specific song for a character the player has already befriended. From four tunes, the player can choose one: The Longing Tune, The Nostalgia Tune, The Anticipation Tune, or The Individuality Tune. Each tune will attract different characters to the performance. There is a maximum of two coins obtained via battles each day, and two coins via visiting friends - the coin cap will increase by four per day.

Interact with Friends[]
Players can visit their friends' streets as well - doing so will reward players with a single Christmas Coin (maximum two per day) as well as access to their friend's event interface and view the characters that their friends have performed for. The characters can be interacted with and will display a reaction when tapped. The words "You've returned to you stage" will be displayed on-screen once the player leaves their friends' interface.
Period 2: Block Party[]
This event will be available from January 1st to January 6th, 2021.
Logging in and completing battles will reward players with New Year's Greeting Cards, which can be exchanged for one of two B-Tier costumes, [Gardener] Xmas Ensemble or [Hell Ember] Santa, as well as various rewards such as Inspirations, Fragments, Clues and Spy Glasses.
Sharing Event[]
Event Period: December 24th,2020 to January 6th, 2021.
During the event, if the entire server's share count meets certain checkpoints rewards such as Memory Sphere - Previous Seasons and 20% Off Echo Discount Cards will be sent to all players. Note: The Discount Card will only be available for purchasing costumes and will stay in players' inventories for 14 days.
Illusion Hall Shop[]
[Emote] Resonance will be implemented for the 8 characters: Gardener, Axe Boy, Postman, Soul Weaver, Cowboy, Enchantress, Entomologist and Violinist, and will be available in the Illusion Hall for purchase. All 8 can be purchased together at a discount of 40% off as a package deal for a limited time using echoes only.
They can only be bought with Echoes. It's 288 Echoes for 1, and 2304 (or 1390 with 40% discount) Echoes for all of them in Emote Package - Resonance.
Map Adjustments[]
"Added "Dawn Atmosphere" to the map, Leo's Memory. Players can try out this map for a limited time in Quick Match and Custom Mode. Numerous Christmas Hats "magically" appeared in Leo's Memory - rumor has it that they were left behind by someone in a leaky old car. If you happen to get your hands on one, treat it as Leo's Christmas blessing to you."
