Clerk, also known as Registrar, is an A-Tier Costume for The Mind's Eye, Helena Adams. It was introduced in Season 13 Essence 2.
It is also connected to its series continuation Season 22 Essence 3 lore.

Physical[]
When this skin is equipped, Helena's hair turns pale-blonde, and her button eyes turn black with red stitches. Her brows are dark.
Outfit[]
Helena is wearing what seems to be a black button-up blouse with lacey white cuffs. It has a turtleneck collar and golden details, including a Leviathan symbol under the chest. Over it is a bright red short coat with wide sleeves reaching to her elbows. It also has gold decals on the sleeves. She wears a big gold necklace that goes over her shoulders that has red and green gems in it, giving her a royal vibe. Her skirt is black and fluffy and ends just under her knees, and her shoes are black heels with gold on the bottom and white lace around the ankle. On her head is a tall and wide hat with gold details and a white rim, which is probably a part of a court uniform.

Helena's cane is gold with a mermaid figure holding a scale on top. It has a golden aura around it.

The once kind and benevolent countess suddenly fell into madness, it is said that she was possessed by a demon, the Holy See advocated burning her to death. The 14th season Essence 2 consists of exquisite rewards such as the Photographer's S-Tier costume "Judge", the Thief's A-Tier costume "Deputy" and The Mind's Eye's A-Tier costume "Clerk". In the tribunal, Judge, the identities of Deputy and Clerk are different, different responsibilities, the facial expressions also have their own characteristics. The Mind's Eye's costume "Clerk" is the assistant to the Judge. Conscientious, silent and introverted, doesn't seem very assertive, she is regarded by the nobles as an accessory of the Judge. Before becoming a clerk, she was also an executive commissioner. The unsmiling expression and slightly reserved movements are just the deep imprints of her career as a Clerk. The "Goddess of Justice" with a sharp sword in her left hand and a balance in her right hand on her cane is her belief.

Background Story
The highlight theme this time, we chose is trial. The characters in the essence play the judges and defendants of the "Seven Deadly Sins". Then a special tribunal was set up based on the structure of the adjudication agency at that time. The tribunal was composed of the chief referee and the commissioners of each tribunal. Each commissioner corresponds to seven kinds of sins, and they themselves are the incarnations of these seven kinds of sins. Therefore, the reference for their trials is not the law, but whether the accused is pious or not in "faith".
Helena is the scribe, the Clerk of "sin", and once represented jealousy. At that time, her jealousy was not directed at a specific object, but the idea she agreed with - whether good or evil - she showed weakness when being swept away by the torrent of the times. As a Clerk, she watched everything she insisted on being gradually abandoned by the times, and she became jealous of new things.
In this tribunal, all positions are not fixed, there will be promotions, rotations and vacancies, so there are actually characters that have not appeared, and they will be released in other forms later.
Design Idea Sketch
This costume was adapted from the clothing characteristics of Victorian judges and modified into a skirt style suitable for women. In combination with the background of Leviathan, the codename of "Envy" corresponding to The Mind's Eyes, the Leviathan symbol is added to the costume. The Goddess of Justice on her cane is also in the shape of a fish-tailed female sea monster, which also symbolizes Leviathan.
Based on the above settings, we designed three sketches, combining the advantages of plans 2 and 3, which were more in line with the settings, nd paying attention to the details of the clothing, and finally got the Clerk's final concept.

- It is contrasting to Scorpion from the related essence storyline, who represents the virtue of Kindness.
- The patch notes when Season 13 Essence 2 was added incorrectly calls this costume Registrar.
- This costume shares the same name as the career name of Keigan Nicholas Keogh, the Clerk.
