Crimson Bride is a Limited A-Tier Costume for the Perfumer, Vera Nair. It was introduced as part of the Season 8 Logic Path on block 1528.
It is related to the Castle Banquet Mystery (2019) Lore, who's story was continued in Season 9 Essence 1.

Vera has a deathly pale skin tone and her usual brown hair has been changed to a deep gray color. Her left eye is gold in hue while her right eye has been completely replaced with a bright red rose and seems to be bleeding. Vera has dark red lipstick in the middle of her lips.
Outfit[]
Vera wears a snowy-white wedding dress that appears to be made of a silk-like material. The upper half of the dress has a V-shaped neckline with small, white, ribbons tied over the shoulder and white detached sleeves made of lace. The lower half of the dress has a white ribbon with a bow at the front of the waist and a short, 3-layered ruffled skirt. The bottom-most layer of the skirt has a small single-layered train.
Vera's left shoulder has several scarlet roses covering it and her right shoulder has one small rose. The majority of the upper-left side of Vera's dress is covered in bloodstains. Vera dons a white bridal veil over her head that covers the top of her head like a hat. It is decorated with pearls on the crown of the head and a cluster of crimson roses and white ribbons.
Vera wears a pair of white thigh-high stockings with lace at the top and a white leg garter on her right leg. She has on a pair of plain red heels with two white rose anklets on both legs. Vera is also seen sporting a pair of silver earrings with rubies in the center.

Vera's perfume bottle is transparent in color with an oval-like shape. The bottle contains a blood-red colored liquid. The nozzle is long and gold in color decorated with a single red rose. The pump that attaches to the nozzle looks like a white rose.

The overall look of the Crimson Bride is a complicated wedding dress, with a long back skirt, a large number of rose decorations, and exquisite transparent lace hollow gloves, all of which tell the joy of entering the marriage hall. However, the roses on the head, right eye and upper body of the Crimson Bride were all dyed bright red, forming a strong contrast with the pure white wedding dress. The irregular smudge marks indicate that this may be due to sudden changes. The Crimson Bride carries a bottle of perfume with her. In the gorgeous perfume bottle, the bright red perfume seems to exude an irresistible fragrance.

Background Story[]
"Crimson Bride" has never explain the origin of this dress to anyone. At night, the white and crimson intertwined strangely. Facing the questioning eyes of others, she just left silently and hid in the deeper darkness. Darkness was something she was very familiar with - when she was not yet human.
She had read the story about the unblessed mermaid princess and the human prince. In the eyes of the vampire elders, that was self-inflicted stupidity. She couldn't deny it. Anyway, she was the most beautiful girl in the whole family, so she wouldn't have such a miserable end!
I can't say enough.
In the beginning and development of the cliched story, she also met her human prince. The vampires survive in the darkness, and he is so upright. She was worried about the unblessed future for the two of them, but when he said "I will marry you", she felt that none of that mattered. Only two people were enough for the wedding.
Fairy tales are not necessarily beautiful, let alone reality. A few years later, this may also become a strange news on the streets - unfinished weddings, imprisoned humans, vampires who have reached nirvana, and love that cannot last. The isolation of the church and the betrayal of the tribe cut off the past. The bride's former fangs and the sinful blood flowed out from the bottom of her heart, turning into the red roses and staying there forever.
Design Idea Plans
If this unblessed story has not ended, then the resolutely brave, lovely and tragic bride must still be carrying a curse in an unknown corner.
To the bloody rose that grew from the bottom of her heart, to the brave girl who sacrificed her life for love. In this background, we designed the "Crimson Bride" costume by combining many elements such as brides, wedding dresses, blood, roses, and vampires.
If a story is to be transformed into a costume, it has to go through many stages including planning proposal, data collection, sketching, review and iteration, etc.
Girls who love beauty know that there are many types of wedding dresses, and the matching hair accessories and shoes are also different. In the original story, the original painting has a variety of options including the picture above, including the rendering of the bloody rose. Although the shape of the fishtail skirt is beautiful, other costumes have similar considerations; the roses painted all over the body are a bit old-fashioned, and the skirt shape is hoped to be fresher; because of the identity of the former vampire, the skin color needs to be slightly whiter; because it is the theme of the bride, we hope that in the design the element of floral gauze is added to the upper head to highlight the bride's features...
This seems to be the first time we have openly discussed the design process. This feedback exchange continues throughout the design, with strict reference and discussion on elements as small as gemstones and eye makeup.
The collision of blood and pure white is more complicated, while less is weird. The final rose bloomed on the left arm and neckline, the skirt was modified into a tuxedo skirt with short front and long back, white collars with lace straps were added, and the facial makeup and jewelry are changed.
This is the third revision so far.
The color of the wedding dress has changed from yellow to silk white, and the texture has been significantly improved; the three-dimensional effect of the lace headband is more prominent, and it does not look like a relief; the roses have changed from a unified orientation and shape to a variety of shapes, some are in full bloom, some are in bud, the size and density are more variable, and it also reflects the ups and downs of the body contour; the lace on the gloves and headband looked softer and more advanced, and the back skirt is more fairy-like, which is almost the same as the final version. The final optimization added issues such as volume, light attenuation, and layers between objects.
The blood and tears shed by the blooming roses in the bride's eyes are the eternal tragedy of this love.

- Crimson Bride may be showing a version of the Hanahaki Disease, a popular trope used in anime and manga.
- It is revealed in the storyline of Castle Banquet Mystery that Crimson Bride is not a human, but a vampire; she fell in love with a human and was abandoned on her wedding day, the day the truth was revealed. NetEase Academy has said that Crimson Bride believed in the fairytale of The Little Mermaid, as well as a human 'prince' who would fall in love with her. However, her dreams were shattered in the end.
- This is one of the few bridal skins in Identity V, the others being Michiko's The Bride & Shiromuku and Mary's Promised Day.
- When looked through her veil, her gloves disappear. This happens with other items in game as well, such as The Breaking Wheel's spikes.
