Daisy is a housemaid working at the Mélodis Estate and one of the suspects of the Mélodis Manor Incident, "The Goddess Vanishes". She is a reoccurring minor character in the Truth & Inference universe, along with her coworker Ruth.
Background[]
Daisy originally lived in the countryside and moved to the city upon getting older. Soon after arriving, she came to know of a local nobleman known as "D.M." and became fond of his appearance and demeanor. This led to her pursuit and eventual position as a maid at the Mélodis Estate, a position she values highly and enjoys.
Appearance[]
Daisy is a slender and petite young lady with fair skin that is described as lovely and cute in appearance. She has mid-length brown hair tied into two low pigtails with middle-parted curtain bangs framing her face. Her button eyes are chestnut brown with a white cross stitch and she has several freckles on her cheeks. She wears a classical-style maidservant uniform, consisting of an ankle-length black dress with long sleeves, white cuffs and a white collar, along with a white apron with ruffles around the sleeves that is tied into a white bow at the back. In addition, she wears white socks and simple black Mary-Jane style shoes.
Personality[]
Daisy is rather reserved and modest, appearing shy and getting flustered easily during conversations. Her demure demeanor and lack of confidence is seen as quite a contrast to her co-worker Ruth, but both are polite and amicable when engaging with guests. Daisy is a bit of a daydreamer and described as "scatterbrained", occasionally being lost in thought and finding it difficult to concentrate on more complex discussions such as those had by Mr. Inference, along with frequently making mistakes with her work despite her best attempts. Her wishful mindset often means she will let her heart and romanticized perceptions lead her path, which, despite her unconfident nature, she will attempt to pursue the best she can. Even when her goals are at stake, she cannot bring herself to hurt others and will panic at the concept.
