The Deduction Star and Nymph Awards voting contest is an annual event where players from each server grouping (Chinese and Global Servers) will get the chance to vote for either a Survivor or a Hunter to receive a permanent A-Tier or S-Tier costume. The winning characters costumes will be made available for purchase in the Illusion Hall, costumes that come from the results of both Deduction Star and the Nymph Awards are always permanently available.

The first half of the event, Deduction Star, has a week long voting period where the first and second place Survivors from both server groups will be awarded costumes, the first place Hunter from both server groups will also be awarded costumes, all costumes as a result from Deduction Star voting will be A-Tier. This can add up to a grand total of 6 A-Tier costumes (4 Survivors & 2 Hunters) if both the server groups have different winners.

Note: Previous winners cannot be awarded the Deduction Star more than once.

The second half of the event, Nymph Awards or Best Performance, also has a week long voting period where players will be able to vote for previous Deduction Star winners to receive the Best Performance Award and an S-tier costume, there is one winner between both server groups and the winner can be either a Survivor or a Hunter. There can be a total of 2 winners if both the server groups have different winners.

All winning costumes from this event will be available in both servers, no matter which server grouping they have won from.

Trivia[]

During the 2021 event, a glitch caused the winners in the NA/EU Server to be incorrectly displayed as Female Dancer, Sculptor, and "Prisoner" instead of Photographer, Prospector, and "Prisoner" for a short period.
Both Gone With The Wind and The Wizard of Oz were directed by Victor Fleming, these movies were the inspiration behind the Deduction Star costumes for Bloody Queen and "Little Girl", respectively.
- Both of these films were also released during the same year, 1939.
