A Dish is a customizable aesthetic setting that causes a plate of food to be served to your character during the waiting animation between game matches (except in Violent Struggle modes). Each player can select a specific meal/Dish in the Self Examination menu (or choose to be randomly assigned from the ones they own) which will be served to them at the table. Characters will only eat certain unique Dishes and will reject all others. Although Dishes release with costumes (linked below), they usually correlate to the character themselves, and not the cosmetic they release alongside.

Once a team has been formed, a player can start the serving animation by clicking on the Peeper standing on the table. Once clicked on, the player can then choose to "Share a Dish" and then click on one of the available plates of food. The Peeper will then drop down and slide a plate of the selected dish to each team member at the table. Each player can then interact with their plate, which results in an animation of the character interacting with the food.
Hunters[]
After getting into a match, the hunter can start the serving animation by clicking on the Patroller standing next to their chair. Once clicked on, the player can then choose to "Share a Dish" and then click on one of the available plates of food. The Patroller will then briefly leave and return with a plate of the desired food on its head for the player. The hunter can then click on the patroller again, which will start an animation of the hunter interacting with the food, before the Patroller takes the plate from the screen.

The first batch of B-Tier dishes was released alongside the Call of the Abyss V Finals on April 21st, 2022. The consumers of the dishes correspond to the main characters of the essence storyline. Geisha eats Tempura, First Officer eats Paella, Enchantress eats the Brownie, Forward drinks the Burgundy Pinot Noir, "Prisoner" eats Ajvar, and Postman eats Steak Diane.
The second batch of B-Tier dishes released alongside the the 4th Global Anniversary. The dishes released were for main characters with high tier costumes in the event. Coordinator eats the Canned Stew, The Ripper eats Sliced Ham, Naiad eats the Oyster Platter, and Entomologist eats the Honey Cake. The Petit Four? also released this anniversary, and is eaten by the main characters as well, along with others due to their lore.
The third batch of B-Tier dishes that was released correspond to the main characters featured in the Twilight Banquet storyline. Acrobat eats the Popcorn, Barmaid eats the Liqueur Chocolates, and Wax Artist eats the Caramel Apple.
The fourth and seventh batches of B-Tier dishes that were released correspond to the characters featured in the Call of the Abyss VI storyline and essence. Wu Chang eats the Fish Balls in Sauce, Toy Merchant eats the Sausage Platter, Batter eats the Curry Pilaf, Grave Keeper eats the Bacon Omelet, Weeping Clown eats the Ice Cream.
The fifth batch of B-Tier dishes that was released corresponds to the characters featured in the New Splash of Color for the New Year storyline. Smiley Face eats the Pizza, Guard 26 eats the Oliebol, and Novelist eats the Black Truffle Conchiglie.
The sixth and eleventh batches of B-Tier dishes that was released corresponds to the characters receiving SS-Tier costumes within the Penrose Maze. Priestess drinks the Earl Grey Tea, and Bloody Queen drinks Wiener Melange and eats Salzburger Nockerl.

The Geisha's Fox Oden dish was released with the xxxHOLiC Crossover, corresponding to her Yuko Ichihara costume. It is the first dish to be featured in a crossover.
