Edith Lawson was the conjoined twin sister of "Ivy".
Compiled Overview[]
Edith was born to the Lawson family in Australia[1], conjoined to her twin sister, Ivy. They were conjoined at the back, unable to see each other directly. Despite thinking the twins would die soon, their parents refused to give up on them. Ivy grew uncomfortable with pestering from those around her and decided to schedule a separation surgery. Unfortunately, 6 days after the surgery, Edith would pass from an infection and Ivy would be left with a life-threatening disability.[2]
Alternate Theories and Conclusions[]
- It is unknown if Edith also wanted to surgically separate from her sister or if that was all Ivy's idea.
- The Shadow's 3rd Deduction, "Heart to Heart", implies Edith was hesitant, but she still agreed, likely because she trusted and loved her sister, and wasn't able to turn her down.
