Elisa is a minor character mentioned in Aesop's birthday letter.

Compiled Overview[]

Elisa is described as Y.R.'s "most loyal friend", tasked to deliver her first and final letter to her son.

Alternate Theories and Conclusions[]

  • Elisa is mentioned to be Y.R.'s "most loyal friend", and therefore Aesop had most likely received the letter had written him. This can be supported by the title of the letter: "A letter from the past"; all undelivered or unreceived letters have corresponding names.
  • It is unknown how close Y.R. and Elisa are, but Elisa is not mentioned to make any attempt to console her nor did she raise Aesop in Y.R.'s stead.
    • This brings up the question of why Y.R. did not choose to ask Jerry Carl to deliver her letter to Aesop instead of Elisa, despite the fact that Jerry had accepted her pleas to take care of and teach Aesop.

Trivia[]

  • Elisa shares the same first name as Elisa Baciocchi, a princess and employer of Antonio. It is unlikely the two are the same character.
