—Patricia Dorval (Deduction Quest No. 9) |
Appearance
Patricia is a slender doll with dark skin. She has black locs accessorized with red and grey hair jewelry pulled into a crimson headband, straight, harsh black eyebrows, and large, shiny amber button eyes. White paint is patterned on her face, shoulders, and arms. She also wears dark brown lipstick.
She wears a black corset with white frills, a red ribbon and three matching buttons with an ankle-length, pleated crimson skirt with white frills and a white petticoat, white stockings, and leather heels with three straps on each. A thick black choker is around her throat, and a leather necklace with animal fangs hangs around her neck. She also wears dangly golden earrings, a black-and-gold metal wristguard on her left wrist, and a black glove with a thick cuff on her right hand. A tear is visible in her skirt, showing cotton stuffing. She holds an ape skull in her right hand.
Gameplay
The Enchantress is a contain/assist-type Survivor who is able to easily able to stun any Hunter near her. She accumulates up to 5 stacks of her stun ability by being within close distance of a Hunter, by being hit by them, or if someone she has healed or was healed by has been attacked. Using one stack of her stun will only briefly interrupt the Hunter, while using three stacks is a considerably longer stun. Any of her stuns can knock a ballooned teammate out of the Hunter's hands.

Concept / Design Notes
Official News[6]
Sorcery has always been shrouded in a mysterious veil in this world. It seems as if it really exists, but very few people really understand it. This time, the new character "Enchantress" in Identity V is one of the few people in the world who can grasp such a scary ability.
Patricia is a shaman with a mysterious background, and her appearance is unique among the survivors of the manor. Her dark skin and religious tattoos are a perfect match for her resolute and good looks, and the monkey statue she always carries with her gives her a very unique and mysterious aesthetic sense. In addition to the powerful power of the curse, her beautiful appearance always appears in the exciting battles that follow.

Official Art Reference Book[7]

Based on her place of birth and experience learning spells, we designed her as a black woman with some tattoos and some bone decorations. Since she lived in the Americas as an adult, her clothing design was as close as possible to the American women's clothing at that time. The monkey head wood carving in her hand refers to traditional African carvings and also hints at the character's origin.
