Envoy, also known as Messenger, is a S-Tier Costume for the Dream Witch, Yidhra. It was introduced in Season 25 Essence 3.
Its essence was obtainable between March 30th and April 20th 2023.

The truth is a deeper nightmare!
Soul redemption, return to the manor game
The plot of the anniversary essence is closely related to the 5th anniversary plot event. The detective falls into an absurd but real new dream and returns to the starting point of all the stories - the familiar apartment, and once again receives an invitation to the manor. This time, he is invited to participate in a game called "Orfeo". At the end of the game, he will have the opportunity to change his own destiny.
After returning to the Manor that has become different, the detective meets many familiar and unfamiliar guests. The participants of the game will take turns to play the roles in "Orfeo" and complete the mission given to them by the story.
In the anniversary essence story video, identity cards are drawn one after another. The participants of the game continue to live their lives on the surface, but their hearts are already surging. In the game field, two of the nine seats are still unoccupied. Dream Witch - Envoy sings softly, leading everyone into a dream. The jade snake spits out its message, and the people who were originally sitting quietly also reveal their true faces in the broken dream. Only the detective holds the hand of the "Little Girl" - Eurydice tightly and runs on the flaming stairs, trying to escape from this absurd but real dream...
Manipulate fate and bring down ominous signs
In the anniversary theme costume poster, Dream Witch's S costume - Envoy, who is high above, stretches out her giant hand, controlling the progress of the game and the fate of every player. Guests who join the game for various reasons are in different emotions. When the lightless boundary comes, who among them will fall into the netherworld forever? Can you unravel the mystery, use your careful thinking and identity skills, and lead your camp to the final victory.
Dream Witch - Envoy is the organizer of this game. She seems to be leading the progress of the game fairly, but no one knows her true intentions. She is wearing an exquisite dress, and the dreamy luster of colored glass fully shows her noble status and charming charm; her long golden hair echoes the golden lace on her clothes, and her pearl earrings, gemstone accessories and jade snake accessories are all shining brightly; a black lace tulle covers her eyes, but please believe that she knows everything about the manor.
Followers faithfully follow the Dream Witch - Envoy, wearing a dress of the same style and color to show the favor she has received; with a golden snake wrapped around her arms and a green snake hovering over a golden pickaxe, she will bring the master's decree and take you to the stage where dreams and truths are intertwined.

Design Idea[]
As the theme of the essence for the 5th anniversary, we hope that everyone can make their dreams come true.
The whole essence takes the style of Art Nouveau of the Golden Age, to hopefully reflect a sense of vanity and joy.
The Dream Witch is the creator of this dream and the manipulator of this reality. She recasts the run-down manor into a beautiful illusion, but in the seemingly perfect dream, she releases a poisonous snake of bad luck.
Initial Sketches[]
Based on the background of the messenger who delivers a bad omen, we finished the first design. The mouth was made like a doll's mouth, and we focused on giving the head and body snake characteristics, which embodies her enchanting and dangerous temperament, as well as integrating the snake design into the costume's decorations.
The second sketch. We lengthened the Dream Witch's pendulum train, and matched the follower's hair color to the Dream Witch's hair.
After refinement, the design of Envoy is completed.
Costume Details[]
- With long, gilded hair, and sparking earrings, the Envoy had put in a lot of effort into preparing the banquet. Her eyes under the black lace blindfold is a bad omen to everyone present.
- At the center of her silk shawl is a jade snake-shaped brooch, and the gold embroidery shows the elegance of the Envoy.
- The follower wears an antique platinum feather headband on her short blond hair, and a pearl and gemstone necklace around her neck.
- The platinum anchor is embedded with sapphires, and the blue serpentine jewels coil around the anchor, blending in with it.
Showroom Notes[]
Envoy is dressed in a long, elegant black dress, and her snake-like pupils underneath the lace blindfold are sharp and beautiful. The follower holds an anchor surrounded by jade snakes, and is looking around.
Golden cards surround the Envoy, and figures of the game participants appear, disappearing when the follower swings her anchor at them. Are they guests at the banquet, or the prey of the Envoy?
Costume Effects[]
Under the cold moonlight, the Envoy gazes at the banquet in a host-like manner, watching the guests' every move.
The Envoy watches the survivors condescendingly, her body surrounded by a golden radiance.
Trivia[]
- The costume shares its name with Patricia's B-Tier Costume Envoy.
- This costume was announced with the name Messenger, but was changed upon its release. It is still referred to as the original name in some places in-game.
- Messaggero (Messenger) is a character in one of Monteverdi's opera L'Orfeo.
- This is one of two costumes where Dream Witch doesn't have a serpentine-like body, the other costume being Kawakami Tomie.
- Due to the nature of the model, Dream Witch still often receives unique animations for these costumes including unique animations for in-game actions, emotes, standby motions, and interactable furniture.
