Ephemeral is a Limited S-Tier Costume for the Priestess, Fiona Gilman. It was introduced into the Illusion Hall with the Accessory Playing Chinese Lute as part of the 2022 Spring Festival, Wishing Lights, during Season 19. The costume was purchasable between February 1st and February 23rd, 2022.
Appearance[]
Physical[]
Her physical appearance stays mostly the same, with her hair now being down and a turquoise colored gradient. Her eyes now resemble a light blue Sacred Lotus which seem to have golden edges. She is wearing glittery light yellow eyeshadow and dark yellow lipstick. Her face is slightly different compared to her default model, in this costume her nose and lips are thinner and her skin is also paler. Her horns are a bit less curved and are a dark turquoise color with gold tips.
Outfit[]
Fiona is dressed like a Dunhuang Feitian (飛天), also called Apsara, a figure seen in Buddhist cultures. Although it's beautiful, her attire is much less vibrant than the traditional Feitian - her bandeau, long skirt and scarves draped around her torso and flowing from her shoulders are made of the same semi-translucent, blueish white material with gold details. She is wearing a lot of shining gold jewelry adorned with small pearls, including long bracelets on her wrists and arms, an anklet, thin chains, necklace, earrings, and small lotus flowers on her shoulders. On her head is a big gold crown with a wavy design similar to her Holy Key, also decorated with pearls draping on the front and back of her head and around her horns.

Object[]
The design of her Holy Key consists of the usual blue eye in the center, surrounded by a gold lotus ring inside a bigger gold ring with wavy points, somewhat resembling fire.
Special Effects[]
2 floating lotuses that resemble her eyes will float and spin around her and leave a trail of sparkling light for a few seconds. Her eyes, jewelry and crown have a slight glow to them. She is surrounded by a blueish white mist.
Concept / Design Notes[1][]
Design Ideas[]
As a costume related to the Spring Festival event, the theme of the priestess package is the magical form of shadow puppets in Chinatown. Referring to the divine mouth in traditional, the first thing we think of is the image in the mural, some elements of Dunhuang and Buddhism were used for reference in determining the theme and the design. For reference, some elements of the costume and pipa rhythm elements are combined into a visual performance and gameplay of the Spring Festival activities.
Initial Sketches[]
We designed the first version of the sketch with reference to the appearance of traditional gods. Although this version of the sketch basically meets the theme requirements of restoring the mountain, after some discussion, we still think that adding a likeness of a real goddess to Identity V is not in line with the world view and style positioning of the game.

In the second version of the sketch, we changed the direction of the design and integrated Kagaku elements into the design of the costume. The adjusted design is close to the theme in terms of tailoring of the clothing styles, and in terms of materials and accessories the delicacy has been improved, and the theme-related elements are used in the detailed design.

After refinement, the design of Priestess - Ephemeral was completed.

Costume Details[]

- The holy key in the hands of Priestess - Ephemeral is inlaid with shining gems, exuding a faint hazy brilliance, revealing how sacred and extraordinary it is.
- Priestess - Ephemeral wears a golden crown on her head, which is dotted with many jade stones. The shining metal and the warm jade offsets each other, and also brings out the elegant temperament of the Priestess - Ephemeral who is beyond ordinary people.
- The eyes of Priestess - Ephemeral are two indigo lotus flowers, which are different from the appearance of ordinary people, showing their unusual mystery.
Showroom Notes[]

The "goddess" on the shadow puppet curtain leaped in front of the lamp, and after the golden light shone, the Priestess - Ephemeral descended in form.

Amidst the wonderful sound of the zither, auspicious clouds and mists are everywhere, and the Priestess - Ephemeral dances lightly, with a graceful figure. The holy key is suspended on one side, surrounded by two lotus flowers.

During the dance of the Priestess - Ephemeral, a bright moon rose slowly. Under the bright moonlight, the Priestess - Ephemeral looked even more refined. There is a sacred and peaceful atmosphere in the pearl song and emerald dance.
Costume Effects[]

Priestess - Ephemeral is wearing a blue gauze skirt, which is embellished with golden patterns. She is holding the holy key, and two lotus flowers are floating around, and "Nongying" follows behind her, with a graceful figure and gait, shedding a bit of hazy light behind her.
