Lethal Crash is a Hunter ability belonging to the Evil Reptilian, Luchino. It is obtained at the first marker of Presence.

It will upgrade into Basilisk once the hunter's presence is completely full.

Official Details

Lethal Crash

After leaping to a certain height, casting this ability again will cause Luchino to drop vertically at high speed, causing damage to Survivors within range and destroying all knocked-down pallets within range.

Basilisk

Luchino's explosive force will greatly increase the dropping speed.

Gameplay

This ability is one of the alternate way for Evil Reptilian to damage a survivor without any blade wiping animation involved. It can be used with Preying Leap or Mid-Air to crash survivors below Evil Reptilian. However, using this ability will end the Preying Leap and force a cooldown even if Evil Reptilian haven't reach its maximum number of jumps.

If Basilisk is unlocked, Evil Reptilian will crash towards the ground faster giving survivors less time to avoid and predict.

Other Details

• Both Lethal Crash and Basilisk will destroy all pallets and injure all Survivors within its range.
• Both Lethal Crash and Basilisk do not consume energy.
• Lethal Crash can hurt survivors through thin walls.

Survivor Tips

• Evil Reptilian leaves a shadow underneath wherever he jumps, so it is best to turn around and get outside of the circle of effect, especially for Lethal Crash.
• Try to go into inside areas with a low roof level as it limits Evil Reptilian's capabilities.
• His "Lethal Crash" can be interrupted with a well timed pallet stun.

Hunter Tips

• While Lethal Crash is active, Luchino is still able to use the normal "Crash" ability, which simply allows him to stop mid-jump. It is useful to stop mid-jump with the plain "Crash" when you aren't certain a Lethal Crash will hit the survivor you are chasing, as the former is quicker and has no animation.
• As Lethal Crash can damage all survivors within range, use this to leap towards the Rocket Chair and perform a Lethal Crash to get a chance of damaging both the rescuer and the recently rescued survivor at once.
