Colorful fantasy, drowning in dreams without a shore! The light reflected by the rainbow has a kind of fascinating taste that makes people indulge.

Colorful glass, shattered dreams in an instant

[S Costume] Barmaid - Fragile, the broken diamonds in the corners of her eyes reflect the luster of the rainbow on her cheeks. The delicate lace hat is embellished with glass-fired flowers and leaves. The melted colored glaze flows along the edge of the shoulder neckline, freezing the color at the moment it is about to drip.

The glass skirt is light and transparent, and her figure is like an elegant and gorgeous wine glass, but the broken skirt and the shackles wrapped around her ankles remind her that all this is just an illusion that will break at any time. In the transparent handbag, colorful broken glass and gravel are gently shaking, and the wine glass and wine bottle are filled with fine wine. A sip can bring back a dream.

Bound by dreams, indulge in pleasure. The truth outside the beautiful dream makes it difficult for people to wake up. As long as they fall into it, they can get happiness...

Design Idea Plans
The inspiration for this essence story comes from the rainbow goddess Iris in Greek mythology. In the past, people believed that the rainbow was a bridge connecting heaven and earth, so the Goddess Iris was usually considered a transmitter of happiness. The story of Rainbow Town is based on this legend. People brew and drink a fine wine called Tears of Iris, leaving all the troubles, misfortunes and disasters in real life behind, and then indulge in the beautiful world created by the Goddess. Therefore, the core element of this essence costume is the colorful rainbow, which also symbolizes the beautiful, dreamy but empty world of wishes of the people in the town.

After determining the aesthetic, romantic, and dreamy costume tone, we also selected different materials and craftsmanship techniques according to the character's own characteristics and temperament as auxiliary elements to enrich the costume design. For example, Barmaid's costume uses pink crystal and burnt glass craftsmanship, and adds a special effect of water drops at the hem to enhance the expressiveness of the broken wine glass skirt; Geisha uses semi-transparent resin and melting technology, and uses melted skirt sleeves to express the tragedy of the character losing her love in the fire; and Thief uses hollow metal and cloisonné enamel technology to show the glamorous and gorgeous identity of the drama master in the character's self-imagination. In order to enrich the details and atmosphere of the costume, we also added the "Pointillism" painting method of neo-impressionism, combining and arranging high-saturation color blocks and contours, and using the effect produced by the principle of visual mixing to enhance the psychedelic, bright, and extreme characteristics of the essence costume, while also making the classical temperament of the costume more intense and prominent.

The Rainbow Town in the story is a place favored by both art and Gods. People of all kinds come here because of the beautiful rumors, hoping to realize their life ideals and obtain the happiness they dream of. However, they don't know that trauma and grief are also part of life. No matter how perfect the fantasy is, the cruel memories buried deep in the subconscious will always be revealed inadvertently - just like the life bound by chains, the love burned in the fire, and the desolation and shabbiness under the gorgeous clothes. The dream will eventually come to an end. After the Goddess's brief mercy, everyone will face a life full of difficulties and bitterness.

Design Idea Sketch
A wine-making woman who lives an ordinary life in Rainbow Town has always longed for a free, exciting and adventurous life. She was sent to prison because she accidentally broke the Duke's precious colorful crystal cup and was unable to repay the debt. This costume image is her self after she drank the wine of Iris, the Rainbow Goddess, and imagined that the broken crystal cup was repaired. It is an idealized image of gorgeousness and freedom, but the dazzling iron shackles on her hands and feet also pull her back to the cold and cruel reality.

The first sketch was designed using broken crystal glasses as the skirt.

The hair color improves the realism and optimizes the shape of the double-layer skirt.

The final version adjusted the shattering effect of the legs, added semi-transparent cellophane to the end of the glass skirt, and optimized the shape of the wine bottle.
