The Twilight Banquet is the 2022 annual Halloween Event. It began on October 20th and ended on November 9th, 2022. The event allows players to obtain rewards, including currencies, cosmetics and profile personalizations, through daily log-ins as well as in-game quests.

The event's story is split into three separate paths, allowing the player to select which associated character they'd like to know about.

Masquerade Entrance Test[]

Once the event interface is selected, the player will have to answer several questions to evaluate which character they most align with. While at the end of the test the game suggests which of the three the player matches most, this result isn't final and the player can select a different character of their own choice.

Choose a Dance Partner[]

Choose a dance partner to read their story.

Players could select one of three characters as their dance partners and interact with them during the banquet in the shoes of the event character Helen Duncan, namely Quinlan, Eclectic, or Conviction. Each day, the dance partners will have new dialogue available.

The Tome of Prophecies Reappears A Century Later!
A druid left behind the Tome of Prophecies on his deathbed but it vanished after Samhain was sealed. A full century later, it has shown itself once again in the Count's castle.

Vampire Legend
An ancient clan that feeds on the blood of the living to maintain their immortality. They are commonly known to possess characteristics like white hair and fangs.

Warning! Village Attacked by Werewolf!
Another farm in a neighboring village has been attacked! Cattle and sheep lay slaughtered! Villagers witnessed a werewolf under the moonlight...

The Count Gives Away the Tome of Prophecies on Halloween Night!
Halloween night is upon us, and the Count's moonlit banquet will be held as usual. But unlike in previous years, the Count has announced that the ball's best guest won't just walk away with a golden coronet presented by the Count himself, that person will become the new owner of the Tome of Prophecies and gain its power!

Attend with Your Dance Partner
The best guest will be named "Twilight Star" by the Count. Invite your dance partner to give you a hand, and maybe it'll increase your chances of attaining that title!

A witch who studies the art of black magic. In these times of peace between the non-human clans, the Wicked Witches are feared by all, so all who feared their power gathered their forces to slander and annihilate them.

[Suspected Motive] Desires to ask the Tome of Prophecies about someone's whereabouts

Formerly the Saintess of an ancient religion, a demon used his heart to bring her back to life, and it made her part witch and part demon, an existence detested and rejected by all. Her only goal in life is to find that demon.

Quinlan

[Suspected Motive] Amusement

Quinlan's mother was a witch who wielded the power of nature while his father was one of the first vampires. Their union was not recognized by their clans, and so both clans hunted them.

Conviction

[Identity] A resident of Stonebell Castle and a researcher sponsored by the Count

[Suspected Motive] Punish those who pose a threat to Stonebell Castle and the Count

Originally a scholar who studied criminology with the aid of wax figures, he lost his life in an act of revenge. The Count turned him into a vampire with the Embrace, but the vampires have lost the power of the Embrace now.

One of the first vampires. He faded from the sight of the clans after the incident with the tome. Now, the Count's Banquet has brought him to Stonebell Castle as he seeks a method to erase certain memories.

Once an elder of the vampire clan who was tasked with guarding the tome, he vanished along with the castle after the incident with the tome. No one knows where he went. Now, along with the appearance of the Tome of Prophecies, he has appeared in Neuntoter with a new castle.

Bell Tower[]

The Bell Tower grants daily rewards to players who log in, in the form of hours struck by a clock. Logging in will reward players with an exclusive portrait, varying amounts of currencies, and once 12 o'clock is reached by logging in for 12 days, an exclusive portrait frame.

Preparation Quest[]

October 20th - October 26th, 2022

As the days progress in the event, new quests are unlocked. Players are able to obtain Candy Corn and other currencies, as well as decorations for the event's main interface. These decorations will sometimes include a short mini-game for the player to do in order to carve the pumpkins before being visible in the banquet.

Lady Eclectic told me to be careful, saying I would turn into dessert or teaware if I stayed too long, and the effects could be irreversible. But I can't pretend nothing is going on.

Sneaking off the ball for just a short while should be fine, right? But I must hurry, the guests are in danger!

The interface for Nocturnal Escape during the Twilight Banquet Event.

Twilight Banquet saw the introduction of the Nocturnal Escape Mode, exclusively available during the Halloween Event period between October 26th and November 9th, 2022. The Mode sees four Survivors try to navigate their way through a heavily modified version of Halloween Red Church that includes an intricate maze, Banquet Items to collect, and traps to avoid. Some Event Quests were also included, awarding players with Candy Corn and exclusive Event Graffiti.

Matching Room Changes[]

For the duration of the 2022 Halloween event, the matching interface is replaced by a festive version of the usual layout adorned with pumpkins, lights and cobwebs. The matching interface soundtrack is also replaced by a Halloween-themed version of the original.
