Event

The Ode to the Eternal Night is the 2025 annual Halloween Event. It takes place during the second half of Season 39, starting with a Warm-Up Event that lasted from October 16th to October 23rd, 2025. The main Event began on October 23rd and will end on November 5th, 2025.

Introduction[]

The moonlit river shimmers, and in a fleeting instant, its current shifts, quietly steering you the realm of Samhain-a domain of eternity and death, where every moment the living linger only hastens their descent into the void. The world pulls back its veil, revealing its true face. Beneath the eternal night, what ending will you choose to write?

Participating in matches will earn you Pumpkin Pastry, up to 20 per day. The amount awarded per match depends on the match type and victory conditions. If a visitor fails to meet the performance requirements, they will not receive rewards.
Spend Pumpkin Pastry in the Event Shop to exchange for the Composer's A-rarity Costume "Umber," Fire Investigator's B-rarity Costume "Lumina," B-rarity Survivor Accessory "Pumpkin Lamp," [Portrait Frame] Beyond the Long Night, [Sticker] Chuckle, and [Sticker] Hmph!
After the event ends, unused Pumpkin Pastry will be converted into Clues at a 1:2 ratio.

Nether Crossing[]

The story unfolds over 7 days, with new chapters released daily. Complete Acts 1 through 7 to earn Pumpkin Pastry per act, for a total of up to 70. Finish the entire story to receive [Room Music] Ode to the Eternal Night.
Your choices on the final day will influence the outcome, so choose with care. However, your ending will not affect your ability to claim rewards.

Whispers of a Dream Warm-up Event[]

Event Period: October 16, 2025 (after maintenance) - October 23, 2025 (before maintenance)
It feels like a dream, yet also like wading across a shadowed river. Ancient tales, steeped in the flow of time, slowly surface from memory, though you cannot be sure they are truly your own.
The Halloween Warm-up event is now live. Play matches to earn Clues, Spyglasses, and Fragments. You can also collect Pumpkin Pastry in advance, ready to spend in the Event Shop during the upcoming Ode to the Eternal Night event. All game modes count toward task progress, as long as you meet the minimum Deduction Point requirement or complete objectives during matches.

Each reward in the Warm-Up Event was unlocked by "listening," achieved through the completion of two Matches per attempt to listen. Complete check-ins by clicking the flowers to unlock conversations. Check-in rewards include Fragments, Trial Cards, [Portrait] Overture, [B-rarity Furniture] Paw Prints, and more!

Blooming on Both Shores Minigame[]

Four players are split into two teams. Across three rounds, work together to divide the flowers as evenly as possible to win.
Drag the joystick left or right to move your character. When the countdown ends, the flowers will be split along the dotted line connected to your teammate. The side closest to an exact 50/50 divide wins the round and scores 1 point. The team with the most points wins the match.
At the end of each game, Pumpkin Pastry will be awarded based on the final result. You can earn up to 10Pumpkin Pastries per day in this mode, with no limit on the number of matches played.

The Nocturnal Escape Mode returned during the event. The previous versions of the minigame were unavailable, and a new mode, Candy Hunt, was introduced.
