Hippocampus is an A-Tier Costume for the Embalmer, Aesop Carl. It was introduced in Season 31 Essence 1 and is currently available in Memory Sphere - Previous Seasons.

Physical[]
Embalmer has pale skin, bright blue eyes with a greenish blue trim, and a blue fire like inside, along with pale yellow details of swirls. He has short black hair, with a mask over his lower face. Light blue freckle like details are present under his eyes.
Outfit[]
Embalmer wears a long blue coat, with water and scale designs all over. The trim of his coat is a transparent fabric that is the same blue, but fades into a lighter colour with gold specks on it. Pale yellow flowers of different sizes are on the front of his coat collar. His coat has gold details around his cuffs, around his shoulders, with two chains at his waist. The collar of the coat has wave-like designs around his shoulders, that transition into gold. His shoulders are the same pattern, and his back has a gold scale design. His back also features a fin that runs down his spine, to the bottom of the coat, it is the same blue with gold details. His sleeves are flared, with a white wave-like pattern present. The cuffs have a fabric like his collar with tiny gold details.
His shirt is open-chested, with a unique frilly collar that resembles that of mushroom gills, with a gold trim. The shirt is a very light blue that fades into pure white, and has blue and gold details. He wears a black underbust corset with blue strings.
He wears a dark greenish blue pair of slacks, with a gold pattern on them. They end just above his ankle, revealing the same colour socks under, and brown dress shoes that have white thread, and a pattern on the top.
He also wears black gloves that features more gold designs, a mask, a hat, and earrings.
His mask is a blue matching his pants, with a lighter blue inside, and gold designs.
His hat matches his coat, with a matching colour, pattern, and trim. The end is slightly draped over his head, with a fish tail at the very end. A fin also runs along the hightest point of the hat. The front has a pair of sea horse ears, and pale yellow flowers. Around the entire hat is a black band with gold edges.
Embalmer also wears a set of studs, and hanging earrings on both ears. Two blue studs are sitting above the tear-drop dangles. The dangles have a light gold ring, and a blue drop on the ends.

Blur the boundaries and step into confusion! In the porch of Morpheus' Vestibule, the ignorant prey steps into the hunter's snare. The once-out-of-reach dream is right in front of him, but where can he find the road to reality?
Between dreams, the thin line between truth and falsehood
In the clean clinic, another visitor fell into a deep sleep under the guidance of a psychoanalyst.
As the consciousness is gently peeled away and invaded, the visitor forgets the blurry face of the host, as well as the fear and pain of reality. In the dream, he seemed to have put on a soft and comfortable nightgown and entered a maze with exquisite structure and full of illusions.
Truth never opens itself up in the appearance of all things. They are often hidden deep in the human brain, hidden in the shadows dominated by the unconscious.
Morpheus' Vestibule took off the disguise of a psychoanalyst, hid behind the scenes, and was immersed in observing the visitors wandering in their dreams: those who escaped from memory and pain, like bewitched butterflies, plunged into the nectar. Here, it becomes your own collection on the way to explore the human mind.
But the maze of Morpheus' Vestibule is not a perfect creation. When the body in the real world is tried to be awakened, the dreamer will also receive some unusual prompts. The "prey" who woke up from anesthesia tried to escape from this huge maze. He passed through the intricate corridors in his dream and finally escaped from a small, ivory arch.
He woke up from the sofa in the consulting room, thankful that this was actually a nightmare: the consulting room was as clean and tidy as when he came, and the gramophone was playing soothing and familiar music. "Reality" made him relax again.
And just when he opened the ivory door of the consulting room and was about to leave, some details that had never been noticed reminded him that this was not the end of the dream: the hands of the clock on the wall were quietly walking in the opposite direction.
In the poster, Morpheus' Vestibule on the left is holding a mysterious cane, and blue light dances around, and a dreamy and mysterious dream unfolds. The Memory Ride on the same side also coaxing the dreamer into a deeper sleep. The fingertips of Morpheus' Vestibule are an ivory door, filled with deep light, and it is unknown where it leads. The visitor in the dream stood on the corridor, delighted to have found a way out of this situation.

The road to reality is full of thorns, and the physical and mental sorrows are constantly impacting like huge waves. Why linger on those tired memories? Shh! The ideal country is waiting for you!
[A Costume] The Embalmer - The Hippocampus wears a dark blue fish-shaped hat with several Sesuvium portulacastrum flowers blooming on it. The sapphire-like eyes under the black broken hair and slanted bangs are extremely deep, matching the crystal clear gemstone earrings. He wears a dark blue coat covered with wavy patterns. The golden decoration on the upper body is extremely luxurious, and the irregular hem is slightly transparent, like the tail fin of a fish, soft and elegant. The shirt inside has layers of rolled collars, which are complex but exquisite. His left hand is placed on his waist, his posture is elegant and calm, and his right hand is holding a suitcase with the same pattern as his clothes. The decoration of horse heads and fish tails looks like condensed water, mysterious and smart. Dressed in gorgeous clothes, he is as captivating as a fairy in the deep sea, seducing people into falling asleep.
The flowers in the mirror and the moon in the water are confusing. Let us discover our true self together, break through the lies of illusion, and find ways to wake up from dreams!

Design Idea Sketch[3]
According to request, the theme of this costume essence is dreams and hypnosis. The Embalmer is a hypnotist in the dream kingdom, and is responsible for erasing the memories of the trapped person to make it more difficult for them to escape. His outfit needed to combine Hippocampus and forget-me-not flowers, Art Deco and nightgown. The overall temperament of his outfit was to be of dangerous mystery, along with a psychedelic and hypnotic feel.
In the first version, we combined waves and ripples as the main decorative elements on his clothing. The sound of waves and light when underwater is hypnotic and dreamlike. At the same time, we added elements of hippocampus on his nightcap, his clothing, and his mask. Layered tulle and mirrors on his collar/chest further enhanced his air of mystery and hypnotic nature. His costume's special effects, his box were also given sea water elements.
The second version of the sketch combines the previous sketch, we added more details of seawater, underwater waves, thick nightgown jacket, and a white gauze decoration in order to create the feeling of slowly sinking into the deep sea and falling into a dream. Embalmer now looks like a slow and calm sea creature in the depths of the sea, with a dull but light temperament, mysterious and dangerous. His overall colour is hazy and the softness of his outline may induce sleepiness.
Finally, refinement is completed on this basis.

What is there to be nostalgic about in this pale and sober world? Sleep peacefully, I promise you - in this ideal country, no sorrow will ever creep up your brow.
- There are several forgetwort flowers blooming on the dark green hat, and the fish tail hangs behind him along the pointed dorsal fin. His eyebrows are lowered and his eyes are indifferent, and dew-like crystal clear gems are adorned on his earlobes, making him look more refined.
- The robe on his body is painted with patterns of tidal waves. The sparkling lake surface washes over the golden tidal flats. The design between the sleeves is like the pectoral fins of fish, which makes people think of some ancient and mysterious creatures.
- Holding a dark blue box in his hand, the soft water waves are shining under the sun. The horse's head made of sea water is majestic and noble, and the fish's tail is agile and elegant.
Showroom Interface Design
The brilliant crystal coffin shook violently, and the Hippocampus broke out of it, drawing brilliant light trails in the water. He was surrounded by the seawater overflowing from the coffin, and his body floated slightly. The Hippocampus and schools of blue fish surround him, seemingly very close to him.
He bent down to pick up the unpublished novel that was scattered on the ground. The lost dreamer curled up and seemed to be afraid of it. He picked up a forgetwort from the tool box and placed it on the page. This flower with its misty brilliance seems to have the magical power to dispel the haze.
In-Game Display
Crystal clear bubbles appeared and dissipated from time to time beside him, like a strange beast in the sea breathing evenly, or like it was having a sweet dream, which made people worry that they would accidentally wake it up.
