Officer Jose is the sheriff of Scotland Yard and one of Mr. Inference's friends since a very long time ago. He usually appears in some events to assist Mr. Inference and Lady Truth in solving cases.
Personality[]
Officer Jose is an enthusiastic person who believe in justice and righteousness, and a responsible sheriff. Aside from that, he is also a reliable friend when he's always ready to help Mr. Inference in any case, as well as accepting his offer to look after Lady Truth in The Proof of Azoth's Theorem event.
Background[]
There is not much known about his past. From the earliest details, we learned that Officer Jose first met and became friends with Mr. Inference and Ronald of Nice during their time serving in the military. After leaving the army, unlike his other two friends who became a detective and an actor, Jose decided to apply for Scotland Yard and became the Sheriff. He was first mentioned in Atropos' Ropes, but officially made his debut as Farfara in The Shrouded Belostain.

Truth & Inference Series[]
- Golden Rose Theater (Season 12 Essence 1): He was mentioned in letters to Mr. Inference as the sheriff of Scotland Yard and the main investigator of the case. He was also the person who forced "D.M." to let the police autopsy on Lady Bella's body.
- The Shrouded Bélóstáin (Season 22 Essence 1): Jose's first official debut in Truth & Inference. He was the one who introduced Lady Truth to become Mr. Inference's partner. At the end of the case, he arrived at Bélóstáin to arrest Rosemary , but failed because she was kidnapped by the Mélodis.
- The Proof of Azoth's Theorem (Season 32 Essence 3): While Mr. Inference left the town to investigate the mysterious Isembard, Jose was asked to assist Lady Truth at the office on his behalf.

- He used to be in the military along with Mr. Inference, Ronald of Nice and "D.M."[1]. However, there hasn't been a detailed event explaining how they met and their roles in the army.
- In The Proof of Azoth's Theorem event, Jose revealed that he was ranked 2nd at swimming and marksmanship, while Mr. Inference was the 3rd. The first one could possibly be Ronald of Nice, as he was seen swimming and always carrying a golden pistol beside his hip in Gambler in The Spotlight Trailer.
