Iridescence is a Reoccurring Time-Limited S-Tier Costume for the Embalmer, Aesop Carl. It was released on July 10th, 2025 in the Illusion Hall with the accessory "Pact".
Availability[]
As it is not a true Limited Costume (which are denoted by the "limited" tag found in the top right of certain card icons), it can return to the Illusion Hall shop multiple times. It frequently returns with its specialty accessory "Pact".
- It was originally available for purchase from July 10th to August 6th, 2025 as part of the "Pact" in the Secret Tunnel Event.

Physical[]
Embalmer has fair skin and scruffy light gray hair that is pulled into a low ponytail with a black bow. His eyes are iridescent and a mixture of blue, purple, and teal. His eyes are stitched in an x-shape with gold thread, and his eyes are outlined in the same gold color.
Outfit[]
Embalmer wears circular gold wire glasses and his cat perched on his left shoulder. He wears a dark teal studded leather face mask that zips in the center, and it covers his neck and half of his face. His gloves match in color. He wears a light blue striped button up accompanied by a dark blue tie with a golden cat pin and a silver spider brooch. On top of that he wears a complex black trench coat that reflects teal. The coat has a silver trim and a spider web design on its left collar. On the upper arms of the coat, on both sides, are two dark teal belts with silver buckles, and the same belts are also near his wrists. The cuffs of the jacket are reflective silver. The left lapel of his jacket resembles labradorite, and so does some of the jacket under the lapel. Silver rose shaped buttons run down the jacket, and the jackets ends shimmer in gold, purple, and teal. In the center of the back of the coat is another patch of labradorite, and running along his shoulders and a lower part of his jacket are more spider web designs. He wears black slacks held up by suspenders and a dark teal thigh holster with one belt connecting at his waist and two more on his thigh. The ends of his slacks have small splits on the sides that are filled in with dark teal fabric and have three small silver buttons running along them. His shoes are black dress shoes accented with a silver tip and heels, dark teal buckles, and silver diamonds on the tongue.

Makeup Box[]
Embalmers make up box is replaced with a teal brief case that has dark teal corners with silver studs. Dark teal belts with silver buckles hold it shut. Several silver accents are on the corners of the case, and in the center of it is a large silver spider that matches his brooch. The short side of the case has been taken over by labradorite.
Coffin[]
Embalmers coffin is now dark teal and embellished with damask designs. The middle of the lid is full of of these patterns and has a glass window with a small teal cat in its center, revealing a light yellow cushioned interior. There are large patches of iridescent labradorite on the coffin with golden cracks and jagged edges.
Special Effects[]
Silver and blue reflective flecks trail the Embalmer as he walks and stands still.

Design Idea Plans
In this story, Embalmer, while a researcher for the Ulliel family, appears primarily as a client and an aid to the investigation. At least in this case, he represents the Ulliel family's external stance. Therefore, in terms of costume design, we wanted his clothing to have a more professional and refined aesthetic, and to use gemstones, which are strongly related to the core of the case, as decorative elements. Through the changing colors of the clothing, the color-shifting effect of the gemstones is linked, suggesting that both the gemstones and he hold undiscovered secrets.
Given the Ulliel family's often aloof and powerful image, we chose cool colors for the clothing to emphasize this sense of distance. The occasional appearance of the silver-blue Ulliel family crest and spider elements on the clothing provide subtle reminders of his current identity and stance to those who see him.
Design Idea Sketch
According to the story setting of the Embalmer, he is a researcher sent by the Ulliel family, and his overall style and temperament tend to be that of an elegant elite staff member.
The basic clothing design is a black leather trench coat, and the Ulliel family emblem is designed on the tie and belt to represent the identity. The gift package theme element iron opal is added. The trench coat is made of two leathers with different glossy materials to enhance the sense of fashion grade. The main special effects are conceived to express the psychological activities of cats. The handheld object is a locked safe. The pockets and waist bag design on the body are all designed to reflect the story of this costume.
The second sketch adjusted the cat's position and detail design.
Finally, the material effect of the clothes was enhanced, and the box was added with iron metallic color mixed with opal gemstone design to complete the refinement.
Model Details Description
Impure gemstones will appear richer in color when exposed to light.
- His deep blue eyes were as deep as gemstones, and his face was hidden by glasses and a mask. The fluffy white figure on his shoulders neutralized his cold temperament, and the spider emblem on his chest indicated his special identity.
- The low-key black coat has a star-like glow looming inside. The safe in his hand is exquisitely crafted, as if its existence itself is of extraordinary value.
- The surface of the coffin is engraved with small cat reliefs and inlaid with gems, giving it an incomparable and unique brilliance.
Showroom Interface Design
He read the information in his hand, and the light in the mirror reflected another familiar figure. The light of the gem flowed, and even if his identity changed, his furry companion was still by his shoulder.
The suitcase contained the medicines he carried with him, as well as a clingy white cat - he carried it out reluctantly but lovingly. The road ahead was full of unknowns, but the kitten was ready to go with him.
In-Game Display
It is difficult to tell the emotions on his tightly covered face, but the flickering black shadow on his shoulder has a rich expression. The gems behind him drag out a meteor-like trail, making the light even more magnificent in the night.
