James Reichenbach is the man who commissioned Orpheus to find his missing daughter.

He starts this entire game as the one who commissioned Orpheus to investigate Oletus Manor. He claims to be Orpheus's most loyal reader, and turns to him to in hopes that Orpheus would be able to find his missing daughter. James sent Orpheus a lengthy and desperate letter, as well as a paycheck and a photo of his daughter. Interestingly, he knows of Orpheus by another alias, the Player's username, which caused Orpheus to pay special attention to his commission.

  • "Reichenbach" is a German surname, however it is also well known as the name of the location where Arthur Conan Doyle's character Sherlock Holmes had his fight to the death with his greatest foe Professor Moriarty - Reichenbach Falls.
