Kreiburg Racecourse is a large map available in Identity V. It is one of the major locations connected to the main storyline, originally founded by Manus de Capet as a present to his wife Mary de Capet. It is located nearby Oletus Manor, currently abandoned. There are 8 Chests that spawn on this map.
Background[]
Manus de Capet bought the manor nearby 10 years ago. While many women were interested in him, he would marry a noblewoman from Austria, Mary de Capet. Shortly after their marriage, Mary fell into a depression, allegedly due to the lack of social attractions. In an effort to make her happy, Manus built the Kreiburg Racecourse, naming it after her maiden name. The racecourse became hailed as one of the most popular events in town. While Mary seemed thrilled about it at first, she would end up committing suicide, hanging herself on the racecourse. Several rumors about her death surfaced such as her committing suicide as the result of an affair she had with one of the jockeys as well as a rumor that her death was actually a murder disguised as a suicide. Shortly after her death, some horses stampeded resulting in casualties, landing Manus with a lawsuit. As a result of all the negative press, Manus would disappear from society with the manor eventually being sold off, leaving racecourse abandoned.[1]
Notable Locations[]
Central Cipher Machine[]
Unlike the regular Cipher Machine, the Central Cipher Machine is located at the center of the map (It is always fixed no matter the spawn). Finishing the Central Cipher Machine provides all remaining Survivors with a 7% Decoding Speed Bonus when decoding other Cipher Machines. However, if the unfinished Central Cipher Machine is not decoded for 10 seconds, its Decoding Progress will diminish by 1% per second, up to 15% in a single match.
Racing Course[]
There are three stables on the map, each with a horse for Survivors and a carriage for Hunters. Survivors and Hunters can interact with them to start riding. Horses and carriages can only move along the racecourse and cannot leave the tracks.
Survivors will dismount when their horse reaches the next stable. Survivors can also choose to dismount when the horse is approaching the stable, but cannot dismount at any other locations. After dismounting, Survivors must wait 40 seconds before riding a horse again. Hunters, however, can exit the carriage at any location. The carriage will also continue to move even after reaching a stable. Hunters do not have to wait to ride the carriage again after exiting.
Survivors can perform a Spur while riding to increase the horse's Movement Speed for a short period. The Hunter's carriage can perform unlimited Spurs with low cooldowns.
Upon performing Spur with the carriage, Hunters can Charge at any horse in their path and both the Hunter and the Survivor will stop riding after the collision. Survivors can avoid collisions by moving left and right or by performing a Spur. Survivors or Hunters on the track will be stunned after colliding with a horse or carriage.
Spectator Station[]
The Spectator Station is located at the corner of the map near to one of the exit gates.
This is one of the stops for the horses for the Survivors and Hunters to interact.
Hedge Maze[]
Tunnels[]
There are three tunnels that cut through the small hills on the map. Survivors can consume all of their Stamina at the entrance of these tunnels to pass through them quickly. Stamina will begin to recover after 7 seconds. Survivors will receive a Terror Shock when they're hit while passing through a tunnel.
Exit Gate Locations[]
As with the other maps, Kreiburg Racecourse only has two Exit Gates, which are always in these two locations:
- In the South West of the map, near the spectator station and hedge maze.
- In the North West of the map, near the dilapidated stable.
Character Spawn Locations[]
Cipher Locations[]
Basement Locations[]
As with most maps, there are two basement locations.
- Below the Watchtower, next to a locker (There is an exclusive basement of the map that contains a lot of easter eggs).
- Near a wooden entrance of the hedge maze, so far near a wooden shack.
Dungeon Location[]
There are a few possible locations for the dungeon hatch to spawn in.
- In the middle of the hedge maze, near a basement and wooden shack.
- In the behind of the spectator station, at a corner of the map.
- In the next to the dilapidated stable and the yellow tree with a rope.

Trivia[]
- The Kreiburg in the name comes from Mary's maiden name.
- Kreiburg is also the last name of the survivor Composer.
- This racecourse is likely to be the one mentioned in Cowboy's 2023 Letter that he was commissioned to repair.
- If you stand at the second row of stands next to the purse and gloves lying on the ground, it will trigger an audio clip of spectators commenting on a rumor about Mary de Capet.
- Transcription: Man: “Look! It's her again!” Woman: “So the rumors are true?” Man: “It's difficult to say for sure. Mary of Vienna, Mary of Paris, Mary of Habsburg and Mary of Valois. You've read those novels, right?” Group: “Ha ha ha ha ha!” Woman: “All of then are named after Mary.” Man: “All of them are about a precious necklace!” Group: “Ha ha ha ha ha!”
- When approaching the hill without cornflowers, the ghost of Cyanus can be seen. He lays on the ground by where the Reporter dug up his skull in an Ashes of Memory cutscene. When approached, Cyanus will stand and gallop off onto the track, eventually disappearing when he passes the other horses.
