Gameplay[]

Main Article: Lasso (Tool)

Cowboy starts with a Lasso at the beginning of the match, allowing him to lasso survivors, hunters, and interactable objects such as Cipher Machines, Pallets, and Rocket Chairs. When Cowboy manages to lasso a Survivor, the survivor will be pulled towards the Cowboy's back but will expose Cowboy's location to the Hunter. Both the Cowboy and the carried survivor can decide whether to release the carried survivor or not.

If the Cowboy lasso the Hunter, he will fly over the Hunter's head and land on the other side. During the process, Cowboy is immune to any damage until he lands on the ground.

While rescuing his teammate being carried by the Hunter, a successful lasso will rescue the teammate and their struggle progress increases by 10% but the rescued teammate will remain at the knocked-down state during which they cannot self-heal. Teammates who are strapped on the Rocket Chair can be rescued with a lasso and will recover to an injured state.

Cowboy can also target Pallets and Cipher Machines, which he will be pulled towards them and get a brief speed boost.
