As these characters are often only mentioned in passing, all information is gathered from various canon sources then compiled here. Due to this nature, some assumptions and theories may be included and will be updated as more sources and information is revealed or discovered.

Martha Behamfil is the name of a woman mentioned in several characters' letters.

Compiled Overview[]

Martha Behamfil was a close friend of Miles, Michiko's husband, to the point where she went out of her way to help Miles search for Michiko when Michiko went missing. She went to Oletus Manor due to getting a lead on Michiko's location, and it is implied she died in a game in the manor. [1] Her name was then sold by Baron DeRoss to the Coordinator to be used as a fake identity for the Coordinator to participate in the manor game. [2]

It is implied that Martha was also in the military, which would be how Miles knew her. This may also be why the Coordinator believes Martha is a suitable identity to impersonate, given the Coordinator's requirement of a "convincing background" and heavy implications that the Coordinator is also from the military.

Given information suggests that any communications using the name Behamfil likely came from her, as the Coordinator bought her name a few days before coming to the manor, which would not give the Coordinator enough time to build rapport or relationships using the name of Behamfil.

It is unknown whether the Coordinator's deductions refer to the Coordinator, or are actually Martha's life story.

Alternate Theories and Conclusions[]

  • Martha may be alive and merely sold her identity so she could live under a new one.
  • Geisha's 2021 Letter is assumed to be written by Martha in the explanation in Character Details, but it is possible that it was written by the Coordinator impersonating Martha.
