Nepenthes is an A-Tier Costume for The Feaster, Hastur. It is obtainable in the Illusion Hall.
It is connected to the Season 3 Essence 1 Lore.
Appearance[]
Physical[]
A series of bursting red particles is within the face of his hood along with a few red eyes. His hands are light green and have red thorns at his knuckles and fingertips.
His tentacles are changed to twisting green vines with red thorns and red and the ends.
Robes[]
He wears clothing made up of overlapping dark broad leaves that vary from blue-green and yellow-green. coiling around his chest, shoulders, and back are twisting brown vines with red thorns. At the front and top of the hood is a crown-like formation of brown gnarled vines with red tips.

The wheel floating behind him is changed to a overlapping shiny green leaves with sharp ridges and red thorns, somewhat resembling the altered leaves of the Venus Fly Trap plant, but curled into a circular shape. Growing from the base of this circle grows two dark pink flowers, one which is a small bud, and the other which is larger and has bloomed, revealing a cluster of yellow stamen inside.
Tentacles[]
The placeable tentacles are a large twisting green plant, decorated with yellow thorns, and with a bright red bud adorned with a large thorn at the tip.
Special Effects[]
There is a pink glow with golden particles around the pink flower within his disc.
Trivia[]
- Nepenthes refers to a variety of carnivorous plants, including Pitcher plants. Historically and mythically, Nepenthes also referred to a special potion that "quells all sorrows with forgetfulness."
- This is one of only a few costumes for Feaster that change the model of his tentacles. The others being Exoplanet and Necromancer.
- The costume's description is based on The Woodcutter and the Trees, a complex of fables that are of West Asian and Greek origins, the latter ascribed to Aesop.
