Penrose Maze is a gameplay element featured in Identity V. It can be accessed in the Illusion Hall.
The Penrose Maze is a hall with classical architectural style. Players can collect Clues, Fragments, Trial Cards, Standby Motions, Accessories and Costumes via the Penrose Maze. To advance in the Penrose Maze, players must use 100 Sealing Wax each draw that could be exchanged using echoes. Players can choose to draw 1 or 10 times, and after a short draw animation, the prize items drawn will be displayed. Sometimes it could trigger some discounts. The Penrose Maze would withdraw its rewards each year. Each duplicate items would be exchanged to a certain amount of Nightingale's Blessings.
The Penrose Maze previously was a board owning a maximum of 18 grids. An avatar showing "Little Girl" on the board, symbolizes which grid is the player is on.

Consume 100 Sealing Wax to play the "Penrose Maze."
Roll a 6-sided dice to advance on the board and claim the reward on the grid.
Exchange for SS-rarity Costume[]
Obtain Penrose Maze exclusive points "Nightingale's Blessings" through various pathways. Exchange 7,000 "Nightingale's Blessings" for the SS-rarity Costume (Perfumer - Mnemosyne's Dream).
How to Earn "Nightingale's Blessings" Points:
A) Claim 20 "Nightingale's Blessings" for each draw.
B) Get "Nightingale's Blessings" from duplicate S-rarity Costumes, A-rarity Costumes, and A-rarity Accessories. 150 points for duplicate S-rarity Costumes and 75 points for duplicate A-rarity Costumes/A-rarity Accessories.
C) Make certain numbers of weekly draws to receive additional "Nightingale's Blessings." Make 5/10/15/25/40 draws a week and receive 10/10/5/5/5 points, respectively.
Probability[]
A) Basic Reward: Clues, Trial Cards, and Fragments. Probability: 90.25%.
B) Intermediate Reward: B-rarity Costumes & Standby Motions from previous Essence. Probability: 5.5%.
C) Advanced Reward: A-rarity Costumes from previous Essence & Explorer's A-rarity Accessory "Dolly." The probability stays the same for the first 10 draws and goes up afterward. The probability of "A-rarity Costumes from previous Essence" and "Explorer's A-rarity Accessory - Dolly" will be calculated separately. Both are guaranteed within 90 draws. Probability: 2.5%.
D) Premium Reward: Explorer's S Costume "The Lilliputian." The probability stays the same for the first 10 draws and goes up afterward. Guaranteed within 200 draws. Probability: 0.5%.
E) Every 80 draws guarantees a "20% discount for five draws."
Store[]
An exclusive store could be accessed by clicking Mnemosyne's Dream's perfume bottle that is located in the middle of the Penrose Maze. Players could obtain SS-rarity costumes by purchasing using Nightingale's Blessings that could be obtained by drawing.

- To minimize money spent, pulls should be done across a period of around eight weeks to get the 35 bonus points for forty draws every week.
- The wording and methods the Penrose Maze uses is intentionally vague and muddied in an attempt to get you to spend more. On average (assuming only the 690+69 Echoes package was purchased on the GamesClub website), an SS tier skin will cost around $400 USD as of January 18th, 2026.
- Worst case, assuming you have none of the other rewards (A-rarity accessory, costumes, or S-rarity costumes), and that you have done all the pulls in one day, it will cost around $425 USD.
- Best case, if you somehow manage to get the S-tier skin every single draw, it will still cost $55 USD.
