Cleanse the sins and dispel the gloom! Witnessed by the phoenix, journey towards the shadow-shrouded snowfield!
On the night of judgment, who will defend justice?
In the Halloween event poster released for Identity V, the town is filled with festive cheer, with pumpkin lanterns everywhere and people donning costumes, preparing for a Halloween ball. Meanwhile, Phoenix, the Embalmer in his S costume, gazes out into the distance, seemingly witnessing a shocking sight. Following closely behind, the Female Dancer in her A costume, "The Moonblessed", looks on with a look of surprise and nervousness. Not far away, on a high platform, Grand Oracle, the Feaster in his B costume, reads a message from a book, and the faithful listen with their heads tilted upwards.

Through the Halloween event story video, an epic story unfolds: the haze over the snowy plains was dispelled by heroes on a snowy day, a story people cherish and remember. Thousands of years later, the devil's claws have resurfaced. This time, who will purge the sin and uphold justice?
Notably, Female Dancer - "The Moonblessed", and the Feaster - Grand Oracle, both bear pentagram patterns. This pattern also appears on the back of the Embalmer - Phoenix. Is this a bond, a curse, or perhaps a prophecy passed down through the ages? Find out for yourself during the Halloween-themed event!

Design Idea Plans
The Halloween costume design relies on the festival tradition and the background story of the event.
In reality, in the parade on Halloween, people often cosplaying as all kinds of ghosts, and among the many ghosts, we have chosen the phoenix as the role of the Embalmer. Although the legends of the phoenix are not the same in different cultural systems, its core symbols are always the same-flame, death and immortality; on the other hand, the legend of "after the death of a person, a bird of death would be born" also has a certain explain. The role as an Embalmer allows the deceased to complete the end of life in the most dignified manner, and at a certain level can also be regarded as the extradition of the dead. The former and the latter have certain similarities in symbolic meaning. Based on the balance of factors such as the temperament of the inspector, he finally chose to use the not too dazzling and enthusiastic "Midnight Immortal" as the theme to increase the sense of mystery and fit the time node of "Halloween Eve".
The Female Dancer's costume for this event follows the previous Halloween cosplay series, cosplaying as the Light Guardian, one of the costumes of Violetta, and finalized the costume style first. Therefore, in the context of the same plot, the dressing style of the trainees whose symbolic theme is "Midnight Immortal" is naturally unified with it.
The finalization of the theme and style also laid the tone for the background of the Halloween event and the plot of the character. Some clues hinted in the details of the three fashions, for example, the meaning of the star and the moon: three different pentagrams patterns, etc...We won’t analyze the spoilers too much here, you can explore them in the Halloween event.
Design Idea Sketch
The theme of this costume is the midnight phoenix, so we positioned its overall tone in the blue and purple night sky with the feeling of midnight. The costume design combines the theme of ancient Egyptian men’s clothing with the phoenix.

The three plans of the first version of the sketch are all too fancy in effect. The character temperament is not in line with the theme, more like a dancer, and the styles of clothing are not too elegant.

We want a more calm and realistic design, so we released the second version of the sketch, which is darker and deeper in the overall tone, and more in line with the character's rebellious background setting. The clothing style is also more rigorous and sophisticated, and the starry sky special effects are added to reflect the theme of midnight. Finally, after detailed in-depth and enriching details, the design of Phoenix is completed.

Model Details Description

- The Embalmer - Phoenix's hair is deep and blue, and the golden phoenix between his forehead is like an immortal glow across the night sky.
- The blue and purple feathers of the night sky are inlaid with gold ornaments and gems, and the stars flow quietly in the meantime.
- The mysterious midnight emissary makes him hold a box that symbolizes death and immortality. He stepped on the starlight to ferry the lost person into the distance.
Showroom Interface Design

The ferryman who is wandering the galaxy descended from the dazzling sea of stars, and the crystal ball gleaming with blue light was jumping naughtily beside him.

The star tracks are the roulette of fate. Embalmer - Phoenix holds the circulating stars in the palm of his hand, and the light from his fingertips is an indication of the vein of his life.

The god of death swept in with the cold breath of the netherworld. It whizzed past, entwined around the "Embalmer - Phoenix", and it was about to plunge into the sludge-filled nether river with the lost souls. Embalmer - Phoenix lowered his eyebrows and fell into the abyss of struggling and uneasy.

With the trajectory of the stars, a pentagram pattern appeared at the feet of the Embalmer - Phoenix. Amidst the blue-violet rays of the stars and the night, the dark shadows struggled painfully, and finally vanished.
Custom Lobby Model Design

Embalmer - Phoenix is dressed in a blue-purple feather coat with the color of the night galaxy, with star particles staring around his body. He came here on the mysterious midnight when the stars descended, he leads the lost souls in the deep blue galaxy.
