Recovery is a Reoccurring Time-Limited A-Tier Costume for the Doctor, Emily Dyer that is part of the "Once" series. The costume was originally introduced and sold in the Illusion Hall from January 31st to February 23rd, 2022.
Availability[]
As it is not a true Limited Costume (which are denoted by the "limited" tag found in the top right of certain card icons), it can return to the Illusion Hall shop multiple times.
- It was originally available for purchase from January 31st to February 23rd, 2022.
- It was made available for purchase from July 14th to August 4th 2022 during the The Shrouded Bélóstáin event.
- It was made available for purchase from March 23rd to April 12th 2023 during the Orfeo's Game event. This return was caused by a glitch but it was allowed to stay.[1]
- It returned for purchase from March 28th to April 24th, 2024 during the The Voyage of Oceanus event.
- It returned for purchase from November 21st to December 18th, 2024 during the Thanksgiving Party (2024) event.
Appearance[]
Physical[]
Emily's physical appearance stays mostly the same, with the front of her hair now having two large curls framing her face. Her eyes are now grey with a lighter grey rim and somewhat overlapping circles, which there are multiple of.
Outfit[]
Emily wears a white dress with a loose fitting top and lace details at the edge of the skirt. It has a wide collar and full length cuffed sleeves. On the front of the dress is silver caduceus emblem with a red gem in the center. Over her dress, she wears a white apron. Attached to her white belt are several brown and white pouches, that are holding medical supplies and instruments. Her tights and shoes are both white. She still has her white nurse's cap, but it now has a white veil attached to the back as well as a gold flower design on the front. There is a white buttoned choker around her neck.
Syringe[]
The Syringe is now silver and resembles late 19th century syringes.

Design Idea Plans
Like previous Once series, Doctor's Recovery is also based on what would have happened if the events that led them to the Manor had not happened.
She will live as Lydia Jones, although she will encounter some obstacles, in the end she will complete her medical studies with excellent grades, never forget her original intention, and become a a kind-hearted doctor who helps the world and fulfill the oath she promised when she started practicing medicine.
Design Idea Sketch
The theme of the costume is the retrospective of Doctor, and the design positioning of the costume the profession of assistant physicians a long time ago. Therefore, when designing, we will focus on showing a sense of history and historical reality, and try to avoid overhead design elements.
The first sketch was not consistent with the positioning of the clothing, the use of overhead clothing and elements and the overly gorgeous decoration are not in line with the story background of the costume.
We re-iterated the second sketch, enriched the characters with costumes and elements that fit the historical era. The main feeling is elegant and clean, in line with the Doctor's costume positioning. Finally, the design is refined and the final concept is completed.

- Doctor's makeup is exquisite and elegant, and her hair style is neat and capable. Coexisting with her superb medical skills is her friendly temperament.
- Her clothes are smooth and tidy, clean and elegant, and she is strict with herself and maintains a meticulous and rigorous attitude in all aspects.
- She carries daily equipment with her and places them in an orderly manner. Even though she is only an assistant doctor, she does not slack off.
Showroom Interface Design
The sun shines down from above her head, and the Doctor - Recovery is bathed in the golden warmth, just like the injured bathed in her gentle care.
Doctor - Recovery carefully examines the syringe in her hand, focusing on everything and avoiding any mistakes.
Costume Special Effects Design
Doctor - Recovery is dressed in white, holding a syringe and equipped with complete rescue tools. The syringe in use emits healing white light, giving gentle healing to the injured. In the dull Manor, she is like a beam of warm sunshine, exuding warmth and softness.
Trivia[]
- This is the first Once Series costume to be for a female character.
- Upon purchasing this costume, the player would also receive the following blue Achievement Label for their profile: "Backdrift - Doctor"
- The caduceus brooch on her dress represents the staff carried by Hermes and is often used as a symbol for medicine.
- The description shown in the concept art is different than the description in game. The description shown in the concept art says: "I will preserve the purity of my life and my arts."
- In her press animation, Emily is performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, commonly known as CPR, on Lucky Guy.
