Reluctant Hug, also known as "Hatred", is an S-Tier Accessory for the the Geisha, Michiko. It is introduced in Season 3 as part of the Rank Treasure. It is currently purchasable in Illusion Hall and Obtainable in Memory Spheres.
Appearance[]
Physical[]
A golden hairpin adorned with sakura-colored butterflies and rubies is placed on Michiko's head. Pink particles are emitted by the hairpin. The two strands of gold and rubies move along with Michiko's movements. The accessory turns from sakura pink to deep, dark green when Michiko is in her prajna form.
Special Effects[]
Walking Animation[]
Reluctant Hug will emit very small, light pink particles which are hard to notice unless one looks carefully for them.
Carry Animation[]
When equipped the accessory will change the carrying animation of survivors to where she will carry them with a hand around their neck and her fan held in front of them.
Switching Forms[]
When Michiko changes forms, an aura will appear as she changes. There are two parts of the aura, a mist that surrounds Michiko, and a streak that swirls around her. Depending on which form Michiko is switching to will affect the aura's appearance slightly. When shifting to prajina, the aura will start off in a pink hue and end in a green hue. When shifting to beauty, the aura will stay pink throughout the shift.
Butterflies[]
This accessory will also change the appearance Michiko's butterflies. The bodies of the butterflies will become a light, sakura pink color with reddish-pink eyes. The upper-half of the wings will be light pink with reddish-pink borders & the bottom half will be light green with a bit dark shade of green of the borders. Around each butterfly one pink outlined and one green outlined mini butterfly will circle.

Trivia[]
- Much like Falling Butterfly & Burning Cherry, this accessory will also grant a special effect when Michiko switches between her beauty & prajna forms.
- This accessory effects are similar to the effects of Rose Cane.
- Reluctant Hug is one of the cosmetics with two different names along with Smiley Face Windmill (Joker Windmill), Recluse (Loner), and The Painted Girls (Picture Woman)
- This is one of the only accessories that changes depending on the form Michiko is in. Beauty form is a pink, yellow and red butterfly and prajna form is black and green.
- When she is carrying a survivor that is a veteran, the grunts of pain will sound different. This also applies to Bane's Jingling Bell, Joker's Hypnotic Device and Ripper's Soul Devourer which were all from when the game was more horror-themed.
