Richard Sterling is one of the children of the Sterling family. He is being impersonated by the "Knight", Richard Sterling.

Appearance[]

Richard is shown to have short brown hair in a bob style. He wears a dark green coat with a white shirt underneath and matching shorts.

Complied Overview[]

Richard and his sister were born as twins to the Sterling family, an aristocratic couple who were known for their involvement in underground activity. As children, they were always together and would often play a game involving them acting as a Princess and a Knight along with singing a matching nursery rhyme.[1] At age four, the twins disappeared, with the daughter being quickly recovered from a previous business partner that the family had cut ties with while her brother remained missing. Three years later, a child was found that was said to "strongly resemble" Richard,[2] but this child was not the Sterling's actual son and the real Richard remains missing.

Alternate Theories and Conclusions[]

  • Richard may have also had heterochromia like "Knight" as they are stated to "strongly resemble" each other. They are shown to have different hair colors and styles in "Knight"'s background story trailer so their heterochromia could have been the defining trait for the Sterlings to believe that the false Richard was their son.

Trivia[]

  • "Knight"'s Chinese backstory uses the terms "姐姐" (Elder Sister) and "弟弟" (Younger Brother) to describe the twins. This may imply that Richard was born second, making him slightly younger.
