Official Details[]

Description[]

Carries a Rocket that can propel him forward at the cost of decreased agility during the dash. The dash speed decreases over time. If he runs into other Survivors while dashing, he can propel them forward together.
He may boost his speed once while dashing, during which he cannot change the direction he's going.

Statistics[]

  • Quantity: 3
  • Cooldown: 16 second(s)

Gameplay[]

The Weeping Clown can use his rocket to increase his movement speed greatly, however it prevents him from interacting with obstacles and reduce his rotating speed while using it.

Should he collide with another teammate while using the rocket, they will hold onto the rocket and be propelled with him. The Weeping Clown can manually release his rocket to launch it (or their teammate) in a straight line until it collides with an obstacle or their teammate chooses to let it go.

Without the Weeping Clown, the teammate cannot control the Rocket's direction or boost, but they can choose to release it.

Weeping Clown can give himself a small speed boost to cover a short distance quickly once per rocket use, during which he is unable to change his direction.

Other Details[]

  • The Rocket's duration lasts for 10 seconds.
  • If the Weeping Clown is interrupted during his dashing animation, he will forcefully release his Rocket.
  • When activated, the Rocket will dash towards where the in-game camera is facing.
  • Weeping Clown could not rotate his camera during the dashing animation.

Weeping Clown Tips[]

  • This ability is useful in open areas, as there is nothing to collide with and you can escape the Hunter's chase. But beware that certain Hunters can force you out of the rocket within range.
  • It is recommended to use this ability in open areas as it will decrease your chances of colliding onto something.
  • Avoid activating your ability near the Hunter as their Knife/Charge attack will force you out of the Rocket, hence wasting your ability and resources.
  • The Weeping Clown can potentially rescue Survivors who are about to be carried by the Hunter.
    • Aim at the Hunter by facing towards them and quickly release your Rocket to launch it straight to them to free your teammate from their grasp.
  • Plan ahead, as colliding with the obstacles can grant you a speed boost from the Explosion in the time of need.
  • The longer you dash, the more sensitive the rocket is when colliding with an object hence ending the dash.

Hunter Tips[]

  • Be aware and prepared while chasing another Survivor, as the Weeping Clown can appear anywhere to help them distance the chase.
  • Hunters that have abilities that can increase their movement speed or range attacks are recommended against him as they give you a chance to catch up with him or even outrun his Rocket.
  • Certain Hunter's Abilities can force Weeping Clown out of his rocket such as.
