The Forward's superior physique enables him to knock the Hunter off balance after dashing a short distance. If the Hunter is knocked into other objects, they will be stunned for a longer period of time.

Forward starts with his Rugby Ball at the beginning of the game, allowing his to dash forward in great speed. Forward can control his direction during the dash but will get stunned temporary (depending on how far he travels) when stopped manually by the player, collides with an obstacle or other characters.
Unlike other survivors, Forward can use his Rugby Ball to knock the hunter and stun the Hunter if they collide with an obstacle during the knock-back. This can also be used to rescue Survivors who are about to be carried by the hunter which instantly frees the survivor or carried by the Hunter which the Forward must knock the Hunter into the obstacle to free them.

- The stun duration for both Forward and the Hunter depends on how much the durability used from the Rugby Ball.
- Both the Survivors and the Hunters can hear Forward or other Survivors using the Rugby Ball if used nearby.
Forward's Tips:[]
- Sometimes, it is best to use the Rugby for kiting and gain distance from the Hunter if chased.
- Try to make the Hunter collide with an obstacle if possible for the best results while rescuing the Survivor.
- If you are sure that the Hunter is using Excitement, quickly drift away from the Hunter or you will risk getting hit by them.
- Hunters who confidently carry a Survivor despite knowing your presence will most likely carry Excitement.
Other Survivors' Tips:[]
- If you sense that the Forward is nearby, crawl as close as to an obstacle as possible to make it easier for Forward to rescue you and give you time to escape from the Hunter.
