Ruth is a housemaid working at the Mélodis Estate and one of the suspects of the Mélodis Manor Incident, "The Goddess Vanishes". She is a reoccurring minor character in the Truth & Inference universe, along with her co-worker Daisy.
Appearance[]
Ruth is a fair-skinned young lady with blonde hair pulled back into a braided bun and sky-blue button eyes with white cross-stitches. She is described as slender and considered to be extremely beautiful by everyone around her. She wears a classical-style maidservant uniform, consisting of an ankle-length black dress with long sleeves, white cuffs and a white collar, along with a white apron with ruffles around the sleeves that is tied into a white bow at the back. In addition, she wears white socks and simple black Mary-Jane style shoes.
Personality[]
Ruth is described as a generous, warm, and overall pleasant person, exhibiting a polite and cheerful demeanor when conversing with other characters. She appears intelligent and quick-thinking, shown by how she was able to adapt her plan in Beneath the Truth upon any disruption to ensure she wasn't suspected. Her intellect is also shown through her interests in drama study, something that Lady Truth comments on. She is strong-willed, confident, and extremely determined. Despite her sweet act, she can be particularly cold-hearted and even manipulative if it is needed to achieve her goals, particularly highlighted through the use of her acting ability to provoke sympathy and avoid suspicion.
