Season 12 of Identity V started in July, 23 2020 and ended September 30, 2020. While this Season was ongoing, players could continue down the Logic Path by rolling dice, and open Essences which contain Costumes, Accessories, Images (Graffiti and Portraits), and Character actions (such as Emotes and Standby Motions) for Survivors and Hunters.
At the end of the Season, the Essences are combined into a Memory Sphere, which can be redeemed using Clues instead of Inspirations. However, S-Tier costumes will no longer be available.
This was the last season to feature 3 A-Tier Accessories in new Rank Treasures, which will be reduced to just 2 in the following seasons.

Season 12 Essence 1 was added on July 23rd, 2020 in Global Servers. This essence was themed after a theater murder mystery and was related to the event Atropos' Ropes.
The Essence got released in May 27th, 2021 as Season 17 Essence 2 for Chinese Server due to the Death Note Crossover and its related Essence not being available in the Chinese Server.
