yet they failed to realize—a supernatural miracle is only possible
with the combination of precise concoction and artistic restoration.
Yet, who is willing to bear
the price of distorting nature?
Essence Introduction[]
Only misinterpreted and fictitious knowledge is enough, it tarnishes the idea of alchemy.
By combining precise blending with the art of restoration, it can create miracles that transcend nature.
But the price of distorting nature is, you will be burdened with a great deal of burden...
Essence Backstory[]
With the development of science and medicine, the power of ancient alchemy has gradually declined. But there are still a group of people who believe in the miracles of alchemy.
In order to approach the extremes of alchemy, they went to different extremes: "Electrolysis" alchemy uses inorganic materials as materials and must rely on excessive energy, "Ouroboros" extracts materials from the fusion of organic matter and tramples on them. Such is the taboo of life.
However, just as the competition between the two parties was getting to a climax, a mysterious alchemist appeared. His alchemy combined with painting, using paint-like techniques, blending organic & inorganic substances in a golden ratio, reshaping the beauty and refining incredible miracles. His power to reconcile and transform the composition of matter comes from a mysterious stone...
When the twisted truth is revealed again, will the secret gathering of alchemists challenging the laws of nature be reduced to a carnival of fools?
Design Notes' Backstory[]
This theme Essence - "The Carnival of Fools" is a story about a mysterious gathering of alchemy.
Except for test tube vessels and alchemical symbols, historical materials are relatively vague about the appearance of the alchemist himself. When applied to costume design, we need to refine and expand it into a more distinctive image.
So, we put the story in the context of the gradual development of science and medicine and the gradual decline of alchemy, and designed it around the connections and conflicts between the three.

Essence Introduction[]When in front of transcendental power One will feel helpless and frightened. But don't be afraid. You just have to overpower it. ---Only then will the court open. Essence Backstory[]The once kind and benevolent countess suddenly fell into madness. It is said that she was possessed by a demon, and the Holy See advocated burning her to death. But the new aristocracy felt that everything was a conspiracy of the Holy See. In order to quell the controversy, the king handed her over to a special court of judges. They served the royal family for a hundred years. Legend has it that they are experts in mysticism, good at dealing with various supernatural phenomena and evil spirits cannot hide in front of them. Judge[]The fabled General Judge is the first chief referee promoted from the executive commissioner. Some say it is because of his noble background, some say it is because of his profound knowledge and there also those who say it is because of his sorcery to deceive people. Deputy[]The former executive commissioner who was expelled by the former chief referee because of the crime of guarding theft. For some unknown reason, after the new chief referee took office, he was recalled but he was no longer appointed as the executive commissioner and was responsible for helping the chief referee to pass messages to some special people. Clerk[]The chief referee's assistant is conscientious, silent & introverted and does not seem to be assertive. She is regarded by the nobles as an accessory of the chief referee. Before becoming a secretary, she was also an executive commissioner. |
