Essence Backstory[]
Rumors circulating in the street and alleys say this quaint workshop occasionally takes on special orders. Some customers come for something other than the exquisitely crafted utensils, believing that the craftsman has more mysterious ability-- to manipulate unseen and intangible 'omens,' guiding the words' flow as if he is playing with molten silver yet to be casted.
"Please carry it with you at all times and open it on the night of the full moon."
As usual, the craftsman casts a metal cylinder for his client, sealing inside precious advice written on parchment. Two guests with their own worries; two "suitable and agreeable" prophecies... The proud craftsman deftly manipulates the words' threads, and everything seems to go along with their wishes.
Sure, sure. The promised 'good omens' never fail to come true, but as for 'unrelated accidents?' There are always rumors that complete the story.
The tragic man-made disaster came to an end, but the treasures that flowed to him without leaving a trace did not satisfy him: those adept at manipulating hearts also long for the truth.
Just as he pours more lies to nourish the beauty and kindness he seeks, a wildfire of vengeance begins to burn brighter and brighter from the nooks...[1]

Essence Backstory[]
A girl yearning for the bustling city finds herself trapped in a small town by heavy rain. A warm-hearted man from the town, known as "Naga", introduces her to an ancient hotel, where she meets the hotel's owner, "Death's Head Hawkmoth"
Initially, she finds her stay pleasant, but gradually she discovers she cannot leave. No matter where she goes in the hotel, she feels as though she is being watched. After a strange bout with food poisoning, she finds her health deteriorating. She writes to her friends, asking them to visit her, but they do not as arrive as expected...
Her suspicions deepen, and she begins to suspect that she has fallen into a trap. However, on yet another stormy night, she accidentally triggers a hidden compartment by the head of her bed and discovers a handwritten fairy tale book adorned by a moth on its cover, signed by "Tanya Ash."
She realizes with a start her situation is much worse than she had feared...[1]

Many years had passed after parting ways with the Lady Truth at the Lone Moon Ladies’ School.
