Season 5 of Identity V started in March 14, 2019 and ended May 23, 2019. While this Season was ongoing, players could continue down the Logic Path by rolling dice, and open Essences which contain Costumes, Accessories, Images (Graffiti and Portraits), and Character actions (such as Emotes and Standby Motions) for Survivors and Hunters.
At the end of the Season, the Essences are combined into a Memory Sphere, which can be redeemed using Clues instead of Inspiration. However, S-Tier costumes will no longer be available.

Season 5 Essence 3 was added on April 18th, 2019, and introduced the new Hunter, the Axe Boy, Robbie White. This essence was themed after the myth of King Midas and his Golden Touch.

Backstory[]
On a midsummer night, dark clouds covered the moon and stars. The pregnant queen sat in front of the seriously ill king's bed. The king coughed and stretched out his hand to caress the queen's swollen abdomen.
He opened his eyes and muttered to himself: "God, I really hope that is a prince who can bring prosperity to the country... Let him have white skin like ceramics, eyes as blue as the sky, and hair as brilliant as gold!" The king who made the wish closed his eyes contentedly.
Soon after, the queen gave birth to a little prince, and everything seemed to be as the king wished.
It's a pity that God will not kindly tell how much people have to pay in order to realize the wish of a king....

It was the second appearance of the Call of the Abyss Series of skins on the global servers, despite being created first chronologically.
