In the standard lobby, only the Detective Orpheus and Reporter Alice Deross can be chosen in either their normal appearance or other costumes. This menu can be opened by clicking the notebook and entering Self Examination Menu on the right.

In a Custom Lobby, players can use this menu to walk around their room as any character they own in any costume owned for that character. In the default lobby, players can only walk around as Detective Orpheus or Reporter Alice Deross.

Dish[]

Main article: Dish

Dish is a customizable aesthetic setting that causes a plate of food to be served to your character during the waiting animation between game matches (except in Violent Struggle modes). Each player can select a specific meal/Dish in the Self Examination menu (or choose to be randomly assigned from the ones they own) which will be served to them at the table. Each character will only eat specific Dishes (listed on individual pages), and will reject all others.

Interaction[]

Survivors[]

Once a team has been formed, a player can start the serving animation by clicking on the Peeper standing on the table. Once clicked on, the player can then choose to "Share a Dish" and then click on one of the available plates of food. The Peeper will then drop down and slide a plate of the selected dish to each team member at the table. Each player can then interact with their plate, which results in a animation of the character interacting with the food.

Hunters[]

After getting into a match, the hunter can start the serving animation by clicking on the Patroller standing next to their chair. Once clicked on, the player can then choose to "Share a Dish" and then click on one of the available plates of food. The Patroller will then briefly leave and return with a plate of the desired food on its head for the player. The hunter can then click on the patroller again, which will start an animation of the hunter interacting with the food, before the Patroller takes the plate from the screen.
