Concept / Design Notes[1][]
Lucky Guy VS Souichi...Transforms into a boy stuffing nails
Souichi is one of the most representative characters created by Ito. He was an inconspicuous elementary school student at home and at school, and was abused by his older brother and indifferent to his family. However, he was born with the power to curse. Whenever he tries to curse someone, he always ties two candles to his head, holds a nail in his mouth, and holds a doll in his hand. That image must have made a deep impression on readers.
And the character Lucky Guy from Identity V is also an ordinary survivor who has nothing but luck. If he were to appear at the manor in Souichi's style, would he intimidate other survivors and hunters like Souichi?

Like the unknown Lucky Guy, Souichi is an existence that is not taken seriously at home or at school, but behind the scenes, he is a powerful boy with the ability to predict and curse. He can cast spells on dolls to let his classmates bury themselves in the soil and hibernate, and realize the terrible and terrifying thoughts in his mind. This "Identity V" linked fashion also truly restores Souichi's classic look. His head is wrapped in white gauze, burning candles are stuffed near his temples on both sides, and his mouth shouting about the iconic nails, which made people shudder. His hair was greasy, his complexion was pale, and there were thick dark circles around his eyes. At first glance, he looked like an unpopular and lonely, gloomy boy. He was very cautious in his movements. He held the purple doll in his left hand and a hammer in his right hand, ready to hide himself in any dark corner at any time.

While retaining the characteristics of the original work, this lucky "Souichi" also cleverly combines the dark gothic style of "Identity V". Souichi's eyes have become the unique button eyes of survivors. There are two lighted white candles tied to the top of the head, and the iconic iron nails are embedded in the mouth. The long-sleeved white clothes he wears have a lot of patches and damaged elements added to the shoulders and other places, allowing players to control the experience in the game without any violation. A sense of harmony. Of course, the doll in Souichi's hands is also indispensable. Its head has even been nailed with iron nails symbolizing the curse, which makes the overall fashion details more accurate. When a lucky guy meets a cursed child, is it luck or disaster?
Prophecies and curses, experience "Identity V", wear "Junji Ito's Shocking Anthology" collab costume, and change your identity to participate in this game about survival!
Trivia[]
- This costume does not posses facial motion but rather switches between different face expressions for Souichi depending on Lucky Guy's health status and the performed action.
- The description was previously: "Souichi's birthday is May 3. When cursing others, it is often Souichi that suffers. (limited edition Junji Ito costume)"
- This costume is based on the Junji Ito Collection's character Souichi Tsujii, specifically his appearance in the story "Souichi's Convenient Curse".
